COOP Hotel Sofia

Parking garage. Polite staff. Very good location, in walking distance from the city center (15-20 min by foot). Spacious room, and big bathroom with all the toiletries. Windows can open normally. Wi-Fi was good.

Parking garage and spaces are narrow and tiny, so if you have bigger car, it can be a problem. Breakfast could be better. (for example they need to add some cheese and fruits). Room was cold, even we turn on the heating. Price is too high for Sofia.

The location is perfect, near Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. We could visit all tourist spots without bus, taxi nothing. The breakfast is good, but needs more variety. Rooms are very comfortable. It's a beautiful hotel.

Only one thing. At the restaurant, we have two teams, pairs receiving guests to the breakfast. One of them, whith a girl and a man. They are kind. The other team is made up of two boys. They don't offer good treatment to guests. They just ignore them. They spend long periods away or messing with their cell phones, pretending not to notice when someone requests something. They do not respond to greetings, they are extremely unfriendly. Something unexpected for a high-end hotel.

Convenient location, very good size room. Staff are generally friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. I have stayed in a few Sofia hotels and that one is one of the better ones.

Some of the facilities can do with updating. Little things like , there is no need to change towels daily unless clearly discarded, label the food at breakfast, offering an open pot of yogurt for everyone to help themselves is like not offering it, staff could say hello a bit more often. Arrived late on Sunday, the restaurant was closed.

Nice receptionist. Room service was good. Secure parking underground. Very easy hotel to find. Very clean room. Warm. Hot shower. Good wifi. Good central location. Very comfortable bed.

The nice receptionist had organise for me to have room service as a party was being held - so no restaurant was available. Food was better than average but not great. Breakfast could be improved. I paid BGN186 which was slightly overpriced in my opinion.

Good underground parking with very friendly serviceman. Reception works rapidly and clearly. All payment forms are applicable. Cleanliness and tidiness in the room, nice compliment for hot weather. Breakfast was great. Big choice for any tastes. I should like to express special thanks to restaurant personal for wonderful compliment in connection with my birthday.

I taste coffee (double expresso) only from right machine. It was not great. May be in the left machine will be better!

The location was nice, fairly central and near most of the places one would expect to work in. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was spacious and always had warm water. The hotel provided all of the required shampoos/lotions/soaps etc.

There was a smell within my room which led me to believe the rooms are not properly ventilated prior to a check in. But I left my window tilted open and the smell was gone soon enough. Also the bed cover was a bit small for the bed.

Wonderful location, a minute away from one of the most central crossings in the city. Still, the hotel provides peace and quiet. Very professional staff. The hotel is beautiful - built in the style of old Sofia. And at the same time, is brand new. We needed to make adjustments to our booking and they very flexible and accomodating. We will absolutely for sure return here.

We needed to call when going in and out of the parking, so they could open the gate. I hope they find more automated option.

Location close to the main historical buildings and the very pleasant and friendly personel.

Limited restaurant hours. During my stay it was closed on a Saturday and on Sunday evening when it was supposed to be opened for a couple hours they had a problem and did not open. I was exhausted from a day tour and asked for a sandwich but they could not fix it, I ended ordering oupp food that ended almost throwing all away. If having room service or a site restaurant is important this is not for you but altogether was a good stay.

We were at the end of a two week odyssey that took us from Sofia to the coast and back. We stayed at the COOP on our return to Sofia. By that time we were pretty tired and although all our accommodations throughout Bulgaria had been fun, it was nice to end our visit at this very comfortable hotel. The staff were great. Breakfast was nice. The location was perfect... walking distance to many of Sofia's sights and wonderful restaurants.

The air conditioning was a bit hard to control, but we had found that to be true in many places and it was not really a problem.

Spacious room, with the same bathroom, nicely decorated, well insulated hotel. Fresh breakfast. Hotel located in a beautiful and quiet area. The breakfast staff very attentive! Large and safe parking. Beautifully decorated hotel. The boy at Check-in was very attentive when, at 6 am, I went down to ask for a teaspoon for tea.

Pay more attention to how you talk to the hotel's customers at check-in. Room 109 did not have everything needed to drink tea at 6 in the morning! the teaspoon was missing and there was only a tea bag.
