Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi

The hotel is very good - is not so luxurious as one would expect from a five stars hotel - but is very clean, the facilities are pretty good, the staff is cordial and attentive and the overall experience is positive.

We had a twin room with single beds and for me the beds were small. They probably have other options with queen and maybe king beds, but I'm not sure. We also have the misfortune of having a lot of construction happening next to the hotel which was very annoying but not the hotel's fault. In this case, noise canceling windows would be nice.

The location and property was very nice. renovated and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. rooms were big and bathroom very nice

the room service at night around midnight was terrible. the food was served on a cafeteria style tray and plastic cups and the food was subpar i ordered a burger medium with caramelised onions and it was well cooked and no onions. My boyfriend had a sandwich with pulled pork which was like a day old dry and unappetising. everything else was great except that.

modern, clean, functional rooms with balcony, great service, rooftop pool and gym, great location.

Some of the bathrooms in the public areas were not very clean; 3 construction sites surrounding the hotel and therefore quite noisy; some of the gym equipments need maintenance.

Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Special thank you to Katery and Vanessa who went out of their way to help us during our stay since we didn’t speak any portuguese. The hotel is very clean and they have a great selection of food for breakfast. They have a nice rooftop.

,Beautiful and modern building, the stuff was super friendly. The pool on the rooftop gives you a nice moment with a great view of the city.

This may not happen often, but we had a not so comfortable experience at night when around 1:45am the construction workers woke us up with a loud mach machinery noise.

We travelled from Ireland and had a very pleasant stay here. Hotel is lovely and clean, spacious room, bathroom, balcony. Good selection of breakfast, staff friendly and great location. The spa was also nice and rooftop pool area was very relaxing

Superb room and fantastic service. The bonus is the exceptional view offered from the highest floor. The staff were also very friendly helpful and super cleanliness room. There was a good choice at breakfast which was also served for a good duration. The rooftop pool is also good. The hotel location couldn't be better either.

Take to long for housekeeping and check in.

Room a bit clinical. Not suitable for families as no extra beds. Building site next door, not their fault but I think they should discount the rooms on that side as noise starts from 7am

The room was very comfortable and big, the breakfast buffet was well served, the rooftop and pool offered an incredible view of the city, the location was also really nice, near a lot of shops, restaurants and bars in Itaim Bibi.

Although we requested some extra blankets, the room was still quite cold.

ordered roomservice once, very dissapointing. i even ordered the “signature dish”, but it was a very dry and tasteless meal. not cheap either
