Rede Andrade Lapa

Stayed 10 days to teach a course at the State University & to do some site visits. The hotel was great - rooms small but comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic (my daughter is vegetarian and enjoyed it too). Nice coffee. A couple of minutes away you find a health shop with amazing Açai smoothies to sit in, supermarkets, bars, cafes, gyms. The beach and Marina (for boat tours) and old city are in walking distance. It was quiet at night. Lapa is a bit poorer than other parts in Rio (hence the cheaper price) but if you have your wits about you, it didn’t feel less safe than anywhere else we visited. Great bus connections to south or north. The staff are always keen to help and friendly.

Good hotel friendly staff.

Lack of facilities, no restaurant facilities after breakfast, only 3 small chairs in the lobby area, no where to relax. No restaurants nearby so you have to eat out or order in.

Friendly and professional staff. Who did their best even if they did not speak English they tried their best to deliver good services, my choice hotel in RIO.

Lack of leisure / dining facilities, poor window views

Comfortable, clean, good value, good breakfast. Friendly staff. I would stay again. Lots of food options in the area.

Far from the beach and 1 kilometer from the nightlife. Better to take an uber around that area at late night but fine to walk around during day. Room is a bit small, but fine

The staff is amazing! so helpful and very kind! the rooms are super nice with a very big beds. The location is good if you want to be in Lapa area which is the party zone.

The breakfast was very poor and when we came they didn’t want to bring us more coffee. We didn’t have a hot water in the shower.

The staff were excellent, especially Ingrid, she was ever so pleasant and very polite and delivered excellent service with her intoxicating smile 😃

The entrance door sensor is not working properly

It served its purpose (a place to sleep). The staff was great, very friendly and nice! Okay price/value because it was Carnaval.

The hotel is basic and clean with a good rate . I was checked in by Jessica and I have to say her level of customer service was outstanding . She’s also very friendly and I had greats chats with her while doing the check in .

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast good, the internet fast, and the location perfect for having a fun night in Lapa.

The rooms are very small and I wouldn't want to stay for more than a couple of nights. I loved staying there for a weekend and going out in Lapa. For the price, you cannot go wrong.
