JANEIRO Hotel

Design of the hotel is excellent. We would recommend drinks and a swim at the rooftop bar and the pool. Staff were very professional, attentive and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice in terms of fresh fruit juices and hot drinks, excellent croissants and varieties of local breads and charcuterie. Location at the beachfront in Leblon is also ideal for access to nearby restaurants, beaches and cool cafes of Rio. We would definitely return.

The hotel was great and its location was ideal. However, you are advised to plan and to be careful of you are planning to walking around the place especially in the evenings as petty theft -small crime in the city is common and very high. We did not experience this during our stay and took taxis to most places outside of Leblon area but you are advised to be careful due to high crime rates.

I loved the location, the style of the hotel (instagram-worthy!) and the amazingly comfortable bed. We were also able to take bikes for free (incl. free waters from the hotel) and cycle along Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana beach - a once in a lifetime experience. The hotel restaurant is also very nice, great cocktails - and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The entire hotel is smaller as it appears online - especially the pool and the rooms. Even though the location and the view from the top make up for it, I think the prices are too high for what you're getting.

Room was spectacular. The staff were really helpful - couldn't do enough to assist. We made the most of the rooftop bar, having a very good dinner up there as well as the drinks. The views and ambiance were brilliant. The hotel also arranged for a very reasonably priced transfer back to the airport.

Hotel is beautiful! Staff is exceptional! The facilities are great and everything looked brand new. Details that made the difference such as welcoming drinks, small gifts and a fruit plate with a card. Decor is also nice and modern. We booked the regular room and still had a great side view of the ocean. The pool and bar on the top floor are amazing!

Amazing staff, honestly it was the best experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. They were all super friendly but one in particular was always around to help us and it was appreciated largely.

The pool area was so beautiful and intimate. The hotel rooms were spacious and large bathrooms.

buffet at breakfast. Pan de qejou to ride the bikes along the beach the service at the beach (chairs, towerls) and the kindness of the beachboy i loved the roof top and the bar. Staff very friendly

Nice design and stunning views if you go for Ocean View Suite. Friendly staff.

It’s noisy. Thin walls, staff and guests slamming doors like real pros. Can hear conversations through walls. Poor hairdryer. No real coffee (espresso from Nespresso capsules).

Wonderful stay ! The location is perfect, in front of the beach. Accommodations are nice. The personal is very kind. The best luxury hotel in Ipanema !
