Miramar Hotel By Windsor

The hotel has a great location right next to the Copacobana beach. It was also very close to Ipanema and we spent equal amount of time in both locations. The staff was highly attentive, responsive and helpful. I would like to highlight the concierge Jairan who helped us with all of our requests and treated us like family. The breakfast was delicious and way beyond our expectations. The hotel also has plenty of wonderful restaurants walking distance from it. Overall the stay was wonderful and we strongly recommend this hotel for first time visitors to Rio as well as repeated visitors.

Nothing it was the closest to "perfect" I have experienced in all my trips. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

One of the best hotels. Location is great, rooms are large and clean, breakfast is great and best part of this hotel is staff. They are so friendly and halpfull. They know english well ( knowlidge of language is problem in Rio), helped us in any qustion or problem we had, they are super attentive and thoughtful. There is little pool on the rooftop with great wieve and bar. We enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again.

Its not a coincidence we stayed in this hotel when we returned to Rio from Buenos Aires. The welcome back was even warmer than our first stay, if that is even possible. We really felt like we returned home after a trip abroad. Thanks guys for an amazing stay and we will for sure come back!

Honestly, best hotel experience we have ever had! The staff are amazing! Soo friendly and so helpful! Especially Daniella/Danielle from the front desk. She was there mainly in the evenings. She was amazing! So nice and so so helpful! We had to extend out stay multiple times and she made sure to give us the best price. Anything we needed, she was there to help. All staff were great though. We were here for over 2 weeks. Upon arrival, we were greeted, our bags were carried from the car and were waited with while we checked in. We were served champagne while checking in which was lovely. Check in was a breeze. So easy. We were then led up to our room and shown around. He explained everything we needed to know about the room, room service and the amenities. The room was fantastic! Large and very clean. Bathroom was spacious and very big bath tub/shower. Maid service was fantastic! They were in everyday to make up the room and clean. Lovely people. The restaurant downstairs was great! Food delicious and service was fantastic! The breakfast in the morning was the highlight. The best breakfast in copacobana! Such a big range of food and all so incredibly yummy. Wait staff are super friendly and attentive. There is a business centre which had computers and a printer which we made use off. This was very helpful to have on site. The rooftop pool and bar was really nice. Very pleasant place to sit and relax and have a drink. There is also a gym available for use up there. The beach service was amazing! They had towels, chairs and umbrellas available which was great! There is also a drink tent set up on the beach with water, and alcoholic beverages which was super handy to have close by. You can order your drinks and they will bring them to you. This hotel is really in the perfect location. Everything you need ia close by. Pharmacy, grocery store, food, beach and there is also night markets on the main road as well as food places.

The service is simply fenomenal!!!! Congrats to the manager. Dani in particular is a rare talent but every and each member of the staff was simply above and beyond my expectations. And I am a demanding and experienced guest.

I really liked the hotel for 1. Great location 2. possibility of early check-in 3. possibility of late check-out 4. I recommend booking a hotel with breakfast. they are very tasty

I liked everything but little thing is that the era of seating above the pool needs to stay open all the time or till the little hours because to us tourists it's scary to go outside late at night and smoke cigarette or talk and we prefer to do that in the safe hotel

Excelllent location. Great views of the beach. Breakfast spread was good but expensive. Facilities could do with some minor upgrades.

I stayed for 3 nights in the Miramar by Windsor Hotel in Rio de Janeiro and had a great stay. I arrived in the late evening at the Rio International Airport and had to discover that the requested airport pick-up was not there. This obviously caused me not to be too happy when I finally arrived at the hotel. However the receptionist at that time, Anderson, really made it up to me! He was super attentive and realized that something was not right (without me actually straight addressing it) and so I told him. He visibly was very sorry and apologized several times to me and then he upgraded my room to a bigger room with a better view and would even follow up with me on the next days if everything was fine. I really appreciated this gesture & care! Overall the staff in the Miramar Hotel were great- very attentive and friendly- any requests or wishes were instantly fulfilled with a smile no matter if in the restaurant, pool bar, reception, maids, drivers, etc ... My room was very spacious, super clean & hygienic, had a nice comfortable bed and it was really quiet at night. The hotel also has a great location: right in the middle of the Copacabana, the beach is right in front and in the streets behind the hotel are lot's of shops & restaurants so that everything required is around. I felt so save and comfortable that I will soon come again!

We had a beach view and it was lovely to look out on every morning and evening. I loved the variety of food at breakfast no matter if you went early or late. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect.

I felt the entrance was quite dated and could have had more contemporary and inviting decor.. and perhaps a welcoming scent but these are very minor details. Nothing that would spoil the stay but just enhance it. The pool at the top is very small for the size of the hotel. The kids menu isn’t a kids menu, it’s just a small portion. Perhaps review your amenities and provisions for young children.
