Crowne Plaza Antwerpen, an IHG Hotel

Loved the breakfast until 11.30 - gave so much comfort. Super friendly staff advising us to park across the street for free instead of paying 17 euro per night at the hotel. Great sauna and steam bath!

There were no bathrobes in the room and to get one deposit needed to be put down. Main door closed after 10pm and needed to ring bell to get in, unnecessary obstacle but probably good for security.

The location was great and the beautiful scent around the lobby was amazing felt refreshing. Interior was really impressive too.

Lack of tea/coffee/milk when requested still didn’t receive. Also I arrived at the hotel 5am in morning for just a couple of hours they charged a full rate bit disappointing to say I had already paid upfront to reserve the room on that day. When I rang before they said subject to availability they might let us have the room at no cost. No sympathy was given at all from staff that we had drove in from UK. Our room was reserved so we could’ve just got that room. Hotel was very big so could’ve given our room at the rate we paid.

Most of the staff very friendly and always with the smile. We would to mention specially one of the housekeeping was doing cleaning of comuns areas, we really apologize for not know her name, but she make the difference because I was sitting close by the pool area waiting for my boyfriend and she simply asked if everything is okay, sometimes a simply question can make the stay very pleasant because I felt she wants to make sure i'm good.

One of the employees of Anna restaurant was a little bit without patience and forget one of our orders. The room was close the lift and we can hear everything.

We had a great room with a nice view the staff where very helpful full we arrived a 1030 am our room ready for use and we could go straight to and relax there where tea coffee biscuits all in the room pool and sauna where very nice Check in staff and reception staff where all lovely Breakfast was first class plenty of choice good quality The hotel was being upgrade but 5he workers where very clear and unobtrusive overall great value easy to get into,city car charging was free and all worked definitely stay again

The steam rood had odd smell like old socks. Restaurant was a bit pricey for whst they offered..

Room was a bit small however nicely furnished and very clean. We enjoyed our dinner in Anna, great host and lovely food.

Please do take away the old menu from the website as we were a bit surprised by the difference with the current menu. Tip: I would have liked a fresh passion fruit in my martini cocktail instead of a grilled/dried slice of one. Your Spa and swimming pool facilities are great. Please do fix the missing stones in the swimmingpool as the current state does not do justice to the rest of your flawless interior

We booked the hotel on the road and it exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and facilities. The hotel has a dedicated park right in front for an acceptable price. The crew was very welcoming and helpful. We we assigned 2 rooms in upper floors, very spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and well equipped with a coffee machine inside (perfect for the nice morning start). The spa was also available late so we could relax and enjoy. We recommend this hotel.

The room were bigger than enough for two people. Breakfast was outstanding because you are given variety of choices. Bed was comfortable as well as pillows.

We were expecting to have food at night however, it was disappointing to know that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment. My little daughter was looking well to swim but we could not access the swimming pool due to ongoing work

It used to be a great hotel, now I find it rather outdated. Some rooms have very small beds, I wonder why they say they are double beds. Hotel temperature is very warm, so you can go from the swimming pool to your room with a simple robe, if that's why you came to the hotel. You need to book for the swimming pool. Very friendly staff. We had an amazing room at the 10th floor. the room is clean and not so small as expected(due to other reviews). The room has the best hairdryer I have ever used in hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast buffet was average. I had a better breakfast buffet for the price but the service was amazing. We loved the wellness options too.

On our last day we couldn't use the sauna. It was not mentioned to us. I hope next time we could.

It is a big hotel, yet you do not feel lost in it. I was offered a free upgrade to a better room as all standard rooms were apparently taken (overbooking?). My room was quite large but still pretty cosy; clean and comfortable, too. Complementary tea/coffee/water in the room. There is a small fridge, too. No mini-bar service but one can buy staff in a self-service shop by the reception. Efficient heating system. The staff was very nice and professional. Smooth check-in - check-out. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice (including fantastic chocolate cakes...). The hotel is located in the outskirts of Antwerp, but there is a tram line nearby (10 minutes walk) which takes you to the centre of the city and the Central Station. And if you plan a visit in Middelheim area, Expo Antwerp or De Single cultural centre, this is the place to stay.

There may be some noise heard from a high-way, unfortunately.
