Quality Hotel Ambassador Perth

The location of the hotel is quite good. If you want to explore the city of Perth, public transport is free within the city. The hotel's location covers a great number of free bus routes, which cater for all travel needs. The hotel rooms are spacious with over 30 square metres. The night views are superb.

As it is a hotel that focuses on value for money, it is normal for its facilities to look old. Although the facilities are rather dated, they are still very comfortable. The bathrooms are all spacious inside and very neat and clean. However, the cold water taps in the bathrooms leak slightly when in use.

Friendly receptionist. Very pleased with the size of the room. My Mum and I had a lovely stay - great spot to go to Christmas Pageant.

I booked through bookings.com. 2 nights for 2 people, $340 including fees and charges which was within my budget - but was charged $378. I think this is bookings.com issue not the hotels. Arranged a late checkout (11am instead of 10am), but at 9.30am cleaner did a quick knock, then just proceeded to try and enter the room - luckily chain lock was connected, as I was not fully dressed. That was OK - but then around 10.15am the same happened again, when I had just gotten out of the shower. TV was on both times. No cafe/restaurant on premises - not sure about room service???

On the first night of arrival.. the staff: Catherine and Anisa are excellent..they provide superior customer service.. Catherine alerted me about my double booking from Booking.com for the night of 2 October 2023one

On 5 October 2023... One of their Indian staff looking mistook me for my rented car parking as to return the rented car.. argued for 5 minutes with him !!later I was told be another staff he was new staff there

As others said in the comments before the hotel could do with a refurbishment but overall I found it nice and clean. The bed was too soft for me but that's personal preference. There was a huge mirror in the bathroom with a big counter. That's was really useful. Staff was nice and helpful. There's laundry facility but I think the machines are a bit outdated too. However, location is fabulous! And after all, I came to Perth to explore and not to just sit in my hotel room

Breakfast; location - convenience to the Adelaide St bus stops and the free, frequent 'Red Cat' route only one block away. (Although you could have some posted information about the Red Cat route down in the lobby.)

(Not for publication - for management only.) We were keen users of the sauna on 5th floor. The sauna's heater is not covered and the metal bucket becomes very hot and can scald. This is a damages claim waiting to happen. Standard practice is to enclose the heated bucket behind pine boards similar to the wood used for the sauna's benches and walls.

I had a Continental breakfast, an evening meal and one served to my room. The meals were simple but delicious and generous. I took a written message for the kitchen staff to show my appreciation. The location and hotel were known to me from a previous visit in 2019. It was an easy walk to the city centre, the concert hall which I attended at night and from where I could walk home safely . It was an easy walk to the wharf, where I shopped and caught a ferry to Perth Zoo.

Nothing! It is a budget hotel with limited staff. It was comfortable and I could enjoy a bath safely which is important for Seniors!

Breakfast was good unless you needed gluten free. This is a comment which applies to the whole of the SW of the state. Gluten free availability in all hospitality is 30 years behind NSW. Exception is where the owner has a family members who is a Celiac or has gluten intolerance. It made eating out disappointing.

The bed was somewhat hard in comparison with all the other accommodation we experienced over three weeks touring'

I was able to park the hire car right outside for free, whilst I took my luggage to the room before returning the car. Large room, comfortable bed, good shower, free CAT bus just two streets away.

There's a note in the bathroom to be careful with water use, improved taps and toilet cistern are needed to be able to fully comply with this.

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was not the best eggs over cooked potatoes under cooked. Bacon under cooked and ham over cooked The coffee and tea in rooms was perfect!

House keepers leaves too much in the hall. Vacuum sweeper my wife tripped over. All bags of dirty laundry and vacuums need to be kept in rooms as the halls are very narrow and it creates a hazard for customers

The shower arrangement, 2 toilets, block out curtains, 3 seater lounge. Proximity to other hotels, restaurants and bars. Ironing board and iron. Provision of a car space. Lots of space. 24 hour service desk.

Size of the tv Having to walk across the road for meals. Paying to park in an outdoor space. No swimming pool. No toaster in the room with crockery and cutlery, No mugs or wine glasses.
