Rowville International Hotel

Check in pleasant and efficient. Kitchen facilities excellent and more than I expected. Room large and good to have a decent table and chairs to eat at.

Bed a bit squashed down on my side where many guests have sat on the side of the bed. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and large as two singles together. Shower and loo old-fashioned and a bit of mould on the door frame from the shower. But water hot and strong flow. Loo took ages to refill though. AND there was a noise like a drill at 2am and 6am for several minutes on and off. Might have been a vibration from another room. But, to be fair, neither a problem for a good sleeper, or a couple, or one person.

The Manager was nice and very accommodating. The location, the room & decor & cleanliness. Air-con/heater, microwave, kettle and fridge. Spare blankets & pillows, tv & free wi-fi. Card entry. Walking distance to buses, fast food restaurant, and 7- 11. The location is perfect for me when visiting in the area, and I look forward to returning often.

No breakfast/meals available. (not sure, but maybe available at other times). TV was not a smart tv so couldn't cast wirelessly from phone. (could take a hdmi to phone cable or chromecast device though).no elevator.

For our family of 5, we were able to book two rooms. The WiFi reception itself is great, but the registration to get WiFi working is a pain. The area around has good bakeries, laundry, and restaurants.

Getting WiFi activated requires them to give you a printout which you have to enter into each device (maximum of 5 devices). That activation process was a pain. The laundry onsite is not very good, but there are good laundry facilities around for those that have more than one load. The rooms were a bit musty smelling (my wife says they smelled like men's cologne). There were a lot of signs up about 24 hour camera surveillance which makes you wonder whether the neighborhood is safe or not.

The staff were very helpful and gave a very convenient room on the ground floor. The hotel reception and breakfast room and the bedrooms are very attractively decorated with a European feel. The rooms were very clean and fresh and of a very good size. Everything worked well. The hotel was very easy to reach via the main roads and freeway. On site parking was very helpful and very easy with enough space for easy access. The complimentary continental breakfast was simple but much appreciated for a good start to the day. We will be back. Good value for money makes this an easy choice.

Good location for what we were after (visiting family in Dandenong North). Nice n tidy unit - had all we needed for family of four. Rooms are serviced every other day. Laundry facilities on site super convenient (have $1 coins handy). If you’re looking for an affordable place to sleep and leaving your belongings this ticks the boxes!

Inside of Microwave hadn’t had a clean. Would’ve been nice to have a shower with handheld shower head to wash kids but certainly not a deal breaker.

Bed was great, comfortable and large. The room clean and spacious. The guy on the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating when I said I was in a hurry to get into an online meeting.

It was a little hard to control the water temperature in the shower, and water leaked out of the shower cubicle a little and puddled on the bathroom floor. The free WiFi was poor which was disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating when we checked in. They were happy to answer our questions. There is plenty of parking available. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nicely renovated. It was quiet.

There was a bit of mold in the shower, but it wasnt too bad. The matress for me was a bit too soft, but it didn't deter me of a good night sleep.

Stayed here with my familiy for a short trip. The cleanliness was a particular highlight for my Mother, as she was pleasantly surprised at the tidiness and general style of the accommodation, especially at this price range. The Hotel also has a beautiful breakfast room with plenty of options available for the complementary breakfast. Location was convenient.

The light bulb in the twin bedroom lamp was blown. However, the ceiling lights were dimmable.

The room was great and the bed was super comfortable! The hotel is under new management and the owners were friendly without being intrusive. They also gave us a complimentary breakfast each day which wasn't included in our original price but was something they had decided to implement.

There wasn't very much at all that I could find to criticize about this accommodation. Even though it was on a main road, the traffic noise was minimal due to great insulation. The rooms were a little colder than we had expected and the air conditioner just didn't seem to be able to take the chill off effectively, but we were mostly there to sleep, so it wasn't a big deal. The owners weren't very familiar with the area or things to see nearby and they would benefit from having an information pack. Unfortunately the restaurant was no longer operating except for breakfast. It would have been useful to have this noted on their website or at least on the hotel door or in the reception area, but it was a small issue in the grand scheme of things and our stay was very pleasant.

what an amazing bed to sleep on! by far in the top 5 comfiest mattresses I’ve slept on at a hotel. the staff were delightful. my partner and I received a very warm welcome, with followed through to the end of our stay. we felt like we were at home with how comfortable the staff made us feel and how beautiful the room is. the bathroom (shower) is 10/10. highly recommend staying here and we will 100% be back in the near future. location and parking is perfect.

nothing to fault! Feedback: maybe attach a chrome cast to the tv in the executive rooms so we can stream Netflix from our phones.
