Nightcap at Monash Hotel

Very comfortable room and happy with facilities. Great that you can go and have a meal at hotel, and food excellent.

No bowls, plates [only need bread and butter] and desert spoon and knife and fork. I have same breakfast every day of yoghurt and crushed weetbix which I bring with me, nothing to eat it in. Even if offered as a "upon request" as I realise some people would steal, and put a refundable deposit on it. Also toaster and would be complete. Only other thing was should have boxes of tissues in room.

It's always clean, and tidy with a fantastic location

Book for 4 people 3 towels, ( lucky I let one child off the hook from having a shower) The walls are super thin the room next door had a child who was SCREAMING from about 2.15am to 3am, we got child screaming doors slamming and parent screaming at the child too, at 6.30am they were awake for the day no more rest for us, I would consider spreading guests out in future so we don't hear each other

We were an easy taxi trip from the hospital. I particularly liked the multiple powerpoints and USB-A charging points that were conveniently located, both by the beds and under the TV area. The staff were helpful. The beds were comfortable, there were reading lights and the bathroom was modern. We liked being able to just walk over to the bistro for dinner and they gave us a discount, because we had a room booked. The bistro food was excellent and we would eat there again, even if we weren't staying the night. I liked getting the hotel information sent to my phone. I liked that there was a table for putting coffee cups and food on and chairs for all three of us. We were able to buy breakfast packs from reception, so that we didn't have to go searching in the morning in an unfamiliar area.

The bistro food took a long time to come (but the food itself was great). Reception is closed in the morning, so there is nowhere warm to wait for a taxi to the hospital.

The room was good, modern and spacious. It’s clean, conveniently located for what we needed and friendly staff. Near to food, etc.

As it is attached to a pub/pokies - my room was unfortunately near the smoking area so on a busy weekend night, the noise was a bit much at night.

the staffs are nice and friendly, the food was also good. and the TV was fantastic that I could watch dramas on Netflix without signing into my own account!! really enjoyed the time I laid on the bed and watched dramas.

the restroom though smelled not really good, and it was a bit noisy when some else parking their cars nearby

Extremely clean room. Not one spot on the mugs or teaspoons! The bed was incredibly comfortable.. so much so, I didn't wake up with sore hips which was very nice! Had dinner at the restaurant, medium rare steak and chips.. done perfectly. Location was perfect, very close to Ikea, Chadstone and M-City shopping complex. I now consider it my favorite place to stay due to the cleanliness!!

Same issue as before.. hated having a shower that took ages to get warm, wasting a load of water. Once hot, the tiny drain couldn't cope with the amount of water so ended up standing in an ankle deep lake of water. I didn't like not being able to shift the shower head in an appropriate angle.. would have liked to have it concentrate on my shoulders or lower back. Would have like a shower cap supplied with the free amenities and also some plates and cutlery.

The room was big and comfortable. Everything was clean. There was a kettle, tea and coffee. The beds are comfortable. Parking was right next to the room, which is very convenient.

It was very noisy outside from the kitchen refrigerators and air conditioners. there was no soundproofing, so the room was noisy.

Fantastic service from the staff at the Pub. The meal in bistro was very nice. I also liked the 10% off your meal and a free drink. Room was very clean and comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay.

Probably would have liked the pack with the two biscuits in it when having a coffee that was supplied in the room. But not the end of the world.

The convenience of everything we needed for a nights stay all in one place. The food was brilliant, the staff super friendly they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Room was very clean and the bed very comfy. Loved being able to access our own streaming services on the tv as well, was almost like we were still in the comfort of our own home.

Convenient location, clean and spacious room. Interior was nicely decorated. Was great to have a restaurant so close with discounts for hotel guests.

The shower was difficult to get to a comfortable temperature as the 2 taps worked at a different rate. Unfortunately we only had 3 towels for 4 people. On one side of the bed, some springs had collapsed causing an uncomfortable sleep.
