Their hospitality was exceptional, and they were always ready to assist. The room was a perfect blend of comfort and functionality and impeccably clean. Given it was warm we certainly made use of the pool facility. The location is ideal being directly opposite Lake Weeroona with a blend of cafes and restaurants nearby and not too far from the City Centre. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and continue to return due to the hospitality and the amenities cater to all our needs.

Not really a dislike but the beds are a little firmer for our liking but this will always be a subjective measure.

Meals in the restaurant were good. Espresso coffee was great. Loved the setup with all rooms facing the lovely court yard and garden. The location is excellent as it is across the road from Lake Weeroona, the Boardwalk cafe, the ice cream shop/cafe and the talking tram tram stop. Next door is a great drive thru or walk up coffee shop - we even tried a Bendigo biscuit, which was yummy!

I didn't like the brewed coffee served at breakfast. We didn't realise that espresso coffee was extra and that it had to be asked for. I liked our king bed, but my husband wasn't happy as his side dipped in the middle and he woke with a sore back each morning.

Very comfortable, spacious and luxurious room. Great value, lovely setting and very friendly staff. Bed was large and comfortable, bathroom immaculate and also large, lovely shower and fittings. Nice, relaxing lounge area opening out onto pretty garden. Very well designed.

Only one thing, and that is that there were no eating/cooking utensils, only a kettle and cups/glasses. A microwave, toaster, cutlery and plates would be helpful, just to heat up a light meal if you don't want to go to the restaurant on the premises, which seems very nice and handy. Still, overall, a great place which I look forward to visiting again.

I had day surgery late on Tuesday. The motel provided a very comfortable, welcoming, place for my wife to wait. It provided a late meal and extra pillows as needed. Tall thin man on reception looked out for my wife and made sure she was okay. I really appreciate that he went the extra "mile". Breakfast was delicious and Chef really knew how to prepare scrambled eggs. Location was excellent and my wife could sit outside while waiting and walk around the lake. Both relaxing activities for her.

Large, comfortable rooms overlooking swimming pool and garden. Situated in a really nice part of town, overlooking the lake and within walking distance of the city centre.

Other than two mugs, a kettle and coffee pod machine, there was no simple crockery or cutlery provided and no toaster. This is particularly unfortunate given the restricted hours of the dining room - closed for lunch every day and for dinner Fri., Sat. and Sun evenings. The bathroom - large and well set out - has no heating. In Bendigo in the middle of winter, this is most uncomfortable.

We liked the friendly welcome we received from the gentleman at the reception desk. Our room was very roomy, the parking had a space to unload luggage between each room, we loved the internal courtyard we looked out on, the bed was well presented and the bathroom had two handbasins.

There were no evening meals on Friday, Saturday or Sunday but reception gave us good alternatives which were not too far away.

cleanliness was superb and very quite room despite being located on quite busy road. very friendly staff. Very good breakfast.

Restaurant hours limited for dinner between Mon-Thurs. Not open Fri-Sun and very few local options within walking distance for dinner. have to drive into town on those nights which is not too great a problem as great options there but being tired after a long drive on site option on weekend would be better. It’s possible the current hours are influenced by Covid-19 conditions and staff availability and may change when we are all back to “normal”

This is the loveliest motel we have stayed in. The room was spacious and comfortable. We loved the set up of the motel with the rooms opening up to the outdoor grass area and pool. The bathroom was also spacious, modern and super clean. Location was good - across the road from a lovely park and lake that we walked around. We also walked into the city centre but it was a bit further than some people may like.

Location was good, staff excellent, easy check in and check out, parking outside door. Disappointing that restaurant was not open on weekends for dinner but found local places to eat close by.

room was little bit dated in decor. awkward to fill kettle in bathroom. tv malfunctioned on first night but was fixed the next day.

Breakfast was lovely, the location was also great. Even though on a main road there was no noise. The Rooms were spotless, and the garden area around the pool was beautiful. Also the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

My next door neighbour was a smoker who sat out side smoking and the smoke was coming in my room
