Calder Motel

Biker friendly hotel, within walking distance to supermarkets, takeaway. Host are friendly and welcoming, Meet all my needs and comforts of home. Heavy curtains that block out the light, good lighting on the exterior.The interior has lovely high walls,room is spacious as well as the ensuite, outdoor chairs and small garden table outside the rooms.Easy to ride in and out of the driveway and park, all level,small stones.

The water was rising in the shower basin, obviously plumbing problem.

management where engaging, helpful, friendly. rooms very clean. external appearance was dated as was the rooms. i would recommend this motel purely due to management customer service skills and cleanliness

rooms dated but comfortable, external appearance dated. in saying that the price reflected that. need something better than a old shower curtain.

Located on the service road of the Calder. A good location outside of Bendigo central but in Kangaroo Flat (Melbourne side of Bendigo). Room 4: The bed was Kingsize (2 singles) so very comfortable. The shower had great pressure and was wet! Good temperature ... Funky toilet with water saving sink on top ... Great idea for grey water but not overly useful. Air conditioning a god send as there's no insulation in this motel. Great welcome and friendly and helpful staff at every interaction.

Allocated parking perhaps needed to be defined as a motel, it should be park outside your own room, was a bit of a shambles this particular evening. The rubbish bin hadn't been emptied when the room was clean, however, as soon as I reported it, it was done. The room was clean and tidy and fresh other than this. I did report the fan in the bathroom as it sounds like it needs a good grease and oil or replacing altogether, it didn't detract from the stay, but may have should one be sharing with others and using the facilities at different times which would disturb slumber.

We had the option of getting there after hours with no issue at all fortunately managed to get there before close. Staff very welcoming, friendly and professional. We walked into a beautifully renovated large room with high ceilings making the room spacious and inviting, super large bed that was very comfortable as was the pillows. Bathroom and toilet were separate to the main room and the water pressure was amazing, no restrictors at all, just a beautifully hot shower. We where greeted by a beautiful tabby and a very playful puppy so I would assume that they are pet friendly. The room was quiet enough to wonder if it was sound proof. All the extras you would expect from motel plus pool, bbq and swings for the kiddies all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Nothing! Did I mention it was very clean. All round impressed.

Friendly staff, the room had free WiFi with free Netflix access so that was a nice bonus.

Some of our dishes were dirty, nothing extreme or enough to complain about but I did have to wash the glasses and some cutlery before we could use them. I found the bed a little hard but my family said they didn't mind them so that's more a personal preference thing.

The property is located just outside of the bush centre and on a service road and is therefore much quieter than comparable motels in Bendigo. I regularly stay here for this reason and because the beds are very comfortable too, and the rooms are clean and dark.

Comfortable bed and we had a good night sleep. Very close to the shopping centre across the road for anything you might need. Cups, plates, bowls, cutlery etc all provided.

No cleaning done behind the bed side cupboards. Spiders living on the power points.

Right price, best room on.a budget ! 🌟🌟 Recommendations for dinner both nights was great &;spot on.. Had very friendly service at the motel & the local Kangaroo Flats hotel we had dinner both nights of our stay..also very comfortable & cosy room*

Everything was great, just maybe would've liked a comfortable chair or 2/3! seater to relax, & lounge while watching fabulous sized screen TV ☺️👍

Cereal bowls, plates & coffee/tea cups, cutlery were provided. Toaster, kettle, microwave, recycle air-conditioner. Parked in front of door.

Veranda light was too bright. Bit tricky driving to motel entrance. The road beside highway does not turn directly past motel.

Was a basic but clean family room. The beds were very comfortable. The room was nice and quiet. Good value.

The room was a little outdated. And a little bit crowded. In saying that, we were more than happy with our stay .
