Burnie Central Townhouse Hotel

The hotel is just located opposite to McDonald's and next to Domino's. Which was a peace of mind during the Christmas break (you know, everything closing down except the 24hrs McDonald's). It's easy to walk to the shopping area, just 4 mins walk to Coles. The en-suite room was good which provides private bathroom, a mini bar fridge, cofy beds and well-worked air-con. I used the coin-operated laundry and found the laundry room was well decorated. Gym is definitely a PLUS for this lovely hotel. Staff were all helpful.

The TV turned on itself at the midnight on the first night... my friend was frightened so we unplug it for the second night.

They made under cover parking available for all our motorcycles (x12) The lady at reception was very nice. Room had an interesting view over docklands and ocean; where I was able to view the sunrise. Mini bar items were also reasonably priced. There was the option to have a bath should I have chosen to. Very comfortable all up. Bar downstairs was convenient, and the actual location was central.

Not much, If I had to say..... the elevator is quite cramped but that's only nit picking.

Comfortable king bed, pillows and bedding. Continental breakfast was ordered and this was as expected. Convenient to have a restaurant downstairs.

There was a bedside table and lamp on only side of the bed. Staff in restaurant seems under trained as it took three of them to process a very simple order. Our meals were average.

The apartment was beautiful and modern, very cosy, and comfortable. We didn't use it, but having the washing machine is a big plus for travellers. The hair dryer was fantastic, and we were amazed at how many towels were available. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the good sized clean shower were fantastic, as they are always annoying to travel with. The view from the apartment of the beach and close proximity to shops and restaurants were fantastic. The covered outdoor balcony area looking out at the beach was fantastic. It is a great size for family and friends to get together and safe for kids to play under supervision. Also having the small clothes line in that area is fantastic if you do need to do washing as it's under cover, but the area gets the beautiful sea breeze. We'd definitely stay there again.

The column heater in my bedroom didn't work, but the extra blankets available in the apartment were sufficient in the end. A few more small long life milk pods and coffee sachets would have been appreciated. We only had one milk pod. However we realised we were only a few metres away from the IGA where you could buy just about anything you needed, so all good.

Burnie was a great central location for the MTBing and walking we wanted to do and this hotel was well situated within Burnie. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room spacious with an excellent bed. It was close to restaurants and cafes and the bistro in the hotel was also fine.

Being a multi-story hotel getting all our stuff to the room and then back to the vehicle was a bit of a chore. Also, the view of the port and woodchip pile was not ideal, but that's what one gets in Burnie!

the location is great and easy to get to. good internet which was handy on a work trip. it is an easy walk into food and drink options in Burnie. reception and room service staff were freindly. food onsite is good!

Staff in the bar and restaurant weren't overly welcoming or friendly.

With in walking distance of town centre. Off street parking and in-house dining. Little noise disturbance from other house guests and road traffic.

The hard bed and blanket bed cover, prefer a lighter weight doona. Good pillows though. Nothing else to complain about.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I te in the restaurant and had the daily roast special. It was so good with roast veg and crackling with the pork. Pretty easy walk to the shops.

The bath and shower screen could do with a shot of exit mould!

The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable and all for an exceptional price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable for an overnight stay and was well equipped with the essentials. The block out blind helped us to have a much needed peaceful sleep and blocked out the lights of a busy area of Burnie. We will return and recommend to friends and family!

No fresh air in the room, unable to open the windows at all.

The bed was just perfect - neither of us had back pain the whole trip, which is unusual. The shower was hot and strong. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We actually booked this place because of the advertised buffet breakfast, so it was disappointing that it had been replaced by breakfast trays that were not convenient for us. We understand this was a COVID precaution, but we probably would have booked somewhere else had we known.
