Nightcap at Findon Hotel

Only 10 or so minutes from the airport in the evening. Shops within walking distance (actually next door!). I had Room 3. It was a nice, sizable room with big windows/doors out on to the balcony. View wasn't necessarily amazing (back of the property & overlooking the rear carpark) but it was quite private and the size of the windows allowed in a lot of light during the day and breezes. Staff member at reception was lovely to deal with.

Very creaky floor. And it wasn't just one spot - and believe me, I checked - but it was everywhere, so there was no avoiding it. I'm a night-owl, so I felt very sorry for my neighbours. If I was the only one there, I wouldn't have cared. Also, box of tissues in the room would have been handy but fortunately, there's an Aldi next door, so problem solved.

Comfortable Beds. Great location and facilities. Excellent restaurant. Staff are great. It is obvious that they enjoy their jobs. I would stay here again given the opportunity.

The wifi wouldn't connect to the smart tv. Staff did their best to fix the issue but the issue was beyond their capabilities. They ended up moving us to another room for the remainder of our stay. Rooms are clean but the showers in both rooms need some extra attention. Mould and body fat at the bottom of the shower curtains. If it wasn't for the bathrooms in both rooms, I would have given you a 10. Everything else was great. The state of the showers was such a contrast to the management and presentation of the rest of the establishment. I would be coming down a little harder on your cleaning staff.

The Findon Hotel was great, Rhys was very kind & helpful upon check in & a great Barman.. The meals were huge, My Daughter liked the kids play area, our accomodation was nice, rooms were lovely, clean & modern.. I loved the Rain Shower, It had everything we needed, free WiFi, water & milk in bar the fridge, coffee & tea.. Toiletries supplied & we loved the little balcony.. The location was perfect & close to My Cheerleading State Comps at the 36ers Arena.. Would 100% stay here again..

Nice size room, comfy beds, clean, staff in restaurant were very friendly, delicious meals, good value especially with the 10% off meals and a free drink when you stay at the hotel

Think the previous occupant smoked in the room because it stunk really bad of stale cigarette smoke. A lift would be great for people with a disability. It really takes it out of you trying to carry luggage up and down all those stairs

Staff were very friendly and offered to carry our luggage for us. Fresh clean bottle of water for each person in the room DAILY 💓 beds were super comfortable and the joining family room still had enough space for the children to play. Secure private balcony. Easy free carparking. Supermarkets, chemist and dinner nearby.

Ambulance noise very loud and often.

easy check-in and check-out, good accommodation nearby-ish to the venue and it have everything we needed - the bed were a bit too soft for our preference but not a big issue, the room amenities were enough for our 2 night stays. we didnt know the restaurant will be close early so didn't manage to try their food

bed could be a bit more firm - but not big issue hair dryer could be provided in the room - we had to ask from room service/cleaner notice for the restaurant last order time would be great for firstimers

The girls checking us in, making our take away lattes were just lovely & friendly. The meals in the restaurant were really nice. Thank you

Not really fair, a big group of us staying there for the masters games, some of us got the free breaky & some didn’t. It all depended how you booked but we didn’t know that.

All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The food was perfect. it was a lovely quiet room and we didn't have any disruptions while we were sleeping.

The room was mainly clean but there was evidence that the cleaner cut some corners. The bed was fine for me but it was a little too soft for my husband.

Restaurant was good noise level was low, so you could speak to each other

It had the smallest bathroom I have ever been in, you had to walk in sideways to get into it, just had a toilet pan and shower. the hand basin was outside the bathroom. there was still plenty of room to have a proper bathroom with a full size door to get into it.

Great space for what we were needing. It was clean. The shower / toilet area is small, but having a private shower and toilet were more important. Beds were very comfortable.

Not a lot of insulation between the room, as we were able to hear the conversation of our next-door Neighbor all night. Or they were just a little too loud.
