Mantra Heritage

Lovely place in an excellent location. With the main street to one side of the property,meals out and shopping are really easy. The pools and bbq facility are great. Our room (1 br swim out) was nicely appointed and very comfortable. Having a washer and dryer was very handy for our 5 night stay. Staff are friendly and obliging.

Having to ask for more coffee/sugar etc as staying for 5 nights and room not serviced during our time there. Also having to ask for a tea towel and face cloths - not provided.

You cannot beat the location! Right in the heart of Port Douglas, just a few minutes walk from most of the restaurants and pubs, shops, pharmacies and supermarket. Rooms were huge, bed was comfy and washer, dryer and clothes airer were unexpected benefits. Hot tip: There are two pools, but please note that the larger of the two is colder - definitely recommend swimming in the smaller pool.

Reception opening hours do not match those listed on the website. Wifi was “free” if you signed up to Accor.

We had originally booked at mantra heritage, but the lovely staff offered a more accessible room (im in a wheelchair) at the mantra in the village since there were lots of stairs at the heritage. Very impressed with their service and help!

My only issue, I would have liked the room to be a bit cleaner. The floor made my feet pretty dirty, and some of the pillows on the bed had some stains on them. And the rug in the living area needed a good shampooing.. 😅 But other than that it was lovely!

Fantastic location, walking distance to everything as I didn't have a car, very easy to get around plus easy access to shuttle buses. Staff super helpful. Lovely spacious room and beautiful pool area.

I couldn't get a 1 bedroom unit so had to pay for a 2 bdrm (just due to availability at short notice). Main bathroom shower couldn't be used as there was a missing floor tile that had just been discovered. The second bathroom could have done with a more thorough clean but it was still fine. For short stays I would maybe suggest a supply of small butter/jam packets to be available.

outside spa, a step to get in would have been very helpful. location of the room was excellent, close to everything. pool area was great, a warm spa in winter would have been nice, it was cold and noone used it. large room, great balcony and view of mountains.

very thick dust on screen doors, king size bed (2 singles pushed together) would have been beneficial to have a king sized mattress cover over both mattresses instead of the 2 single ones. a chair in the room or small sofa would have been good, gardens outside room needed tending to prevent looking at a pile of weeds and air conditioning unit on next door property, a privacy screen on the balcony that could be closed especially at night, like the ones on the rooms overlooking the pool would have been good as the rooms across from us could see directly into our room. no room service or pool side service was available

We loved the spacious room, location was amazing we didn’t even use our car. Pools were awesome with sun beds and umbrellas Room has everything you need

The only thing I can fault about mantra heritage is that it was very hard to move around the place with a pram as there are lots of stairs from level four! If I wanted to go to the pool by myself with bubs I couldn’t take the pram with me as you need someone to help carry pram down.

The location was great and the room extremely spacious.

I thought the pool was a little dirty. Wasn't inviting to swim in and I had paid an extra $600 to have a swim out pool balcony and hardly used it because of the state of the pool and all the kids blow ups and noodles left in the pool. Leaves and fluff everywhere.

Great location in the centre of Port Douglas. Clean and well appointed room with direct pool access. Two pools to choose from to relax in the sunshine or cool off with mini spa pool. BBQ facilities in the pool area for use as well.

The double bed was comfortable with good linen but could have been a queen size for extra comfort. Only basic kettle and sachets of coffee are provided rather than a Nespresso machine.

I loved that our room was a swim out room.The property is so close to everything.Literally a 5-10 minute walk to all the shops.I also loved the outdoor covered bbq area.I have had a blast here in Port Douglas.The staff were also amazing.I have forgotten the lady’s name at the reception.When we checked out she oversee to help us carry our luggage down the stairs which is so lovely.The place also has a hot tub but I didn’t use it as I was enjoying my time in the pool from the humidity.We Will be back that’s for sure.See you guys next January at some stage.We Will stay longer :-)

probably the No room service and how there is no ladder to get into the pool from the swim out room.Also a on site bar would be nice.

Excellent location to pubs and boutiques and the beach. Lovely accomodation with easy access to the pool. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Noticed a strong chlorine smell in the room on arrival but after a day of two it seemed to go. Apart from that the room was very comfortable.
