Meriton Suites Adelaide Street, Brisbane

Staff were polite and happy, ready to assist at anytime.Location was amazing (near waterfront restaurants and bars) Suite was clean and had all that was needed. Replacement of towels occurred on request. Great location and place Would love to return again

Indoor pool could have been warmer. The room was warm, but the pool was not warm enough to jump in unfortunately

Love the hotel and facilities, was close to transport and plenty of places to visit nearby. Had a convience store right next to the hotel which was great for when we first arrived so we could get simple staples. The pool, spa and sauna was amazing. Area was kept clean and was a great way to relax at the end of te day. Love the lift feature which required you to have your room keycard to be able to access the lift. Front counter is 24hrs so any issues or concerns there was always someone there to help out

Had issues with cleaning staff. Room was refreshed every 3 days which was great. First time they refreshed they didn't give us the right amount of towel. Though friendly staff at the counter sent us more. Second time they refreshed the room they left a not saying we had a do not disturb sign up, which we did not as we havnt used that for our entire stay. Only changed the towels didn't restock our supplies like milk or coffee as they were supposed to. Didn't want to bother thhe front staff with this as we were leaving in a couple days anyway.

Unit 1901 - Bed was extremely comfy, Views to Story Bridge and Brisbane River, One bed apartment was an excellent size and had self contained appropriate amenities

The Bathroom needs a mould clean both in the bath/shower and on the floor tiles. It really let the unit down. Parking was not available at the property, seems odd you can book in advance for a room but cannot book your parking. Parking was at the Howard Smith Wharves about 5 minute walk away. Driveway for off street pick up and set down space really needs to be pointed out to guests and rideshare drivers - it is not safe to stop on the street. Access from Boundary street not Adelaide Street.

My wife and I found the Meriton well located, with much of central Brisbane in walking distance. Fortitude valley, Story Bridge, Queen Street mall, Botanical gardens and the boardwalk are among just some of the locations we found close by. Other facilities very close included cafes, supermarkets and diaries. Our room was clean with modern features. It was generally quiet, and the black out curtains were great. There is also a pool, spa and gym onsite, however we only visited these briefly she didn't utilise these. They looked suitable though.

Our only minor comment was the staff seemed a little lacking in local knowledge.

Great to have washing machine & dryer in the apartment. Comfy bed, good shower. Great location on edge of city & near lots of restaurants. Quick access to airport. Close to supermarket & cafe for breakfast. Excellent value for money. Good that there are 2 air cons, one in bedroom, which can be partitioned off from the rest of the apartment, & another one for the rest of the area.

Next to no coffee, tea & sugar supplied - had to get some from reception. Some info needs to be supplied re the master switch near the front door which allows the washing machine & drier to operate.

The proximity to the river with cafes and restaurants was excellent. There were shops and supermarkets within a short walk. The room itself was very comfortable and well laid out. Having a kitchen and laundry was great. The apartment was quiet and airy. Plenty of storage and wardrobe space. Having the capability of casting from devices to the TV in both the lounge and bedroom was a nice touch. The air cons were quiet and efficient.

No balcony. Nowhere to dry clothes other than the clothes dryer. The spa at the swimming pool wasn't working. It was a bit of a walk to train stations, especially with luggage. A power point in the bedroom was loose which could have been dangerous.

The location was brilliant - right near the river with lots of cafes, restaurants, and Felons Brewery to choose from. Walking distance to the Botanical Gardens and the CBD, and the ferry terminal is close by. The room was comfortable, spacious and had a great outlook over neighbouring streets.

There were a few minor things - the tap in the kitchenette leaked everywhere when using. There was nowhere to comfortably place toiletries bag when using bathroom sink. We could not get Netflix etc to play on the TV, even after reading the (brief) instructions.

Place was spacious, comfortable, and had ample space and facilities. Had a usable kitchen perfect for preparing fruit and making small desserts. Place was clean. Bed and sofa were comfortable. Even had a washing machine, dryer, and iron which came in clutch when we needed to extend our stay in Brisbane. The staff have been amazing: courteous and helpful.

Just a few small nitpicky things. Only one tissue box in the whole suite (although you can easily ask for another box). Shower cover is only a half cover; for me at least, water was still going past it and onto the floor. Slippers weren't provided by default (again, can easily ask for some).

Loved the apartment. It was great with the kids and the property provided cots. Good kitchen facilities. We would 100% stay again. The views were incredible and the location was ideal.

We were expecting a cleaning service as stated every 3 days but no one cleaned our room even though we asked. The bins were emptied once and we were given some extra towels, but the beds were never made, carpets never vacuumed and surfaces never cleaned. By the time we left after 5 days the apartment still had not been serviced. I rang the concierge on day 4 to let them know and they said they would send someone but never did. Disappointing but everything else was excellent

That you can only watch TV via apps - No local channels for ordinary viewing Mouldy bed linen but this was changed immediately Bathroom shower door and lower tiles need a really good clean Safe had lights / buttons missing so unable to use They don’t clean daily as per the compendium , when they did so all they did was change the towels - absolutely nothing else and not what is written in the compendium
