ibis Budget Coffs Harbour

It was the day of Christmas and quite busy. Reception was lovely and nice. We stayed for a night on our road trip from Sydney to Gold Coast. Reception staff was accommodating and helpful with replies and additional requests we made through Booking.com messaging option. Also the beautiful Forest Sky Pier is only a couple of minutes drive away from the hotel. Overall we were quite happy. Thank you very much to the lovely Reception and Admin team.

The only downside was the bunk bed on top of our queen bed, my head bumped into the bunk bed 4x and it was not a good feeling. You have to be aware of the top bunk bed when standing up from the bed. Except for this overall we recommend the place for overnight stop over place.

The room was cosy and comfortable. I was able to open the window but still feel safe. Fresh air is important to me. The amenities were clean and functional and the bed was simple but super comfy and I slept really well. The main thing for me was that I felt secure staying at Ibis. I was by myself and the stay was to allow me to go to Baringa Private Hospital for surgery the following day. Not the most usual reason for a hotel stay, but when you live in regional areas, it's something you have to consider and do sometimes. Places like this reduce the stress and worry from these situations. I was able to use the common room downstairs to heat up an evening meal and the room coffee/tea amenties to have an early breakfast before fasting. Really good location, although the room info did state the nearby pub makes a lot of noise on Friday and Saturday nights. I stayed on a Wednesday and wasn't disturbed at all. Thanks Ibis.

The microwave in the common area wasn't very clean. Maybe being a bit more vigilant about wiping it out between uses or even supplying materials for users to do so would be a good idea? Staying on weekends sounds like a challenge due to evening noise from the local pub (this was listed in the visitor info sheet so you don't get this head's up until you are literally in your room).

I kinda like everything about Ibis Budget. What truly made me say I choose the best place for my family's three day visit to Coffs was the location where Ibis Budget is located or situated. My son and I had to travel by Coach to Coffs Habour for the first time and I am truly blessed having the Coach Terminal just a walk away from the Ibis Budget and that is superb, the shopping centre and the local route bus stops all were in Ibis Budget vicinity. All these had truly made me to choose and say Ibis Budget is a home away from home. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and neatly kept. The environment was peaceful and safe. I would like to recommend Ibis Budget to any first timers visitors whether individual or family ... Ibis Budget will make your stay in Coffs Habour a memorable one. Thank you Ibis Budget for making my son's and I three nights stay in Coffs Habour a memorable one though, and my son couldn't stop talking about it. The whole family visit this time is logged in the family bucket list for a family visit to Coffs Harbour and surely the place to be is log in as well, none other then IBIS BUDGET COFFS HARBOUR.

The staff were helpful and lovely. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and hot after a long drive. I experienced a little noise only from the room above me, for a short while. I had an enjoyable stay. The motel is centrally located, which was very convenient.

The air conditioner wasn't working, which I knew about before booking confirmation. It would have made the room a little bit more comfortable in the cooler weather. I hit my head on the bunk bed above me in the dark of the room, as I forgot it was there. A night light or bedside lamp may provide a safer alternative.

Cheap accommodation for an overnight stay...clean bedroom & bedding...aircon...close to town.

The shower was dirty with a build up of soap scum & mould... I was looking forward to a shower after a long drive but I was hesitant...then the water pooled up around the toilet instead of going down the drain, my floor mat was saturated so had nothing dry to stand on to get dressed...I was surprised water didn't go onto carpet in room! When I heard of upcoming renovations that made me happy to know.

Clean, very small, 2 coat hangers. The price was very cheap, got what we paid for, clean bed for the night, toilet, shower, plus kettle. The staff were very nice and helpful. Great place for a one night stay if travelling for a short period.

Smaller than expected, not suitable for someone travelling from abroad for 3 months on the road with a larger amount of luggage.

It’s just a place to sleep and go out. Have fun outdoors the rest of the day.

The app has terrible pictures, the actual room looks better than the pictures. I think it’s because the size of the pictures makes the room look smaller. The bathroom didn’t have soap. I had to go to the reception and ask for one. I had problems with the card to open the door.

location was very central, car park was great at the front of the building, Bed: was fine Bathroom: not being an inserted module, it was better than expectations...the module inserts at other Ibis hotels are too small and cramped.

Room: there was no desk to work at, which is essential for business traveller. There is a desk in the rooms at Ibis St Peters in Sydney. Refrigerator is too small: particularly the freezer section. If people are traveling for a few days they would like to be able to place all of their food and drink in the refrigerator or freeze the fruit juices or their cooler bricks to prolong the life of any food that has to be prepared in advance for people with special dietary needs

Next to a nice bar for dinner who were also very friendly. Staff were lovely to me but had an overall harassed air.

No tumble dryer. The pool wasn't inviting being in the middle of the car park with no occlusion from people. Besides it had a lot of leaves in it. The handle of our room door made it really hard to open needing a number of attempts.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. I arrived pretty late (almost midnight), a little concerned about some gangs of children wandering the streets but there's regular police patrols. The room was pretty much on the smallish size but I only wanted a clean room, a bed to sleep in plus a toilet and shower so easily suited my purpose 😊 place gets 4 x green ticks 😊
