Whitetail Lodge

The location was great, with great access to many areas. Staff was friendly. Good services and good breakfast. Pool and patio were very good.

There were, and still are, issues with booking. I prepaid thru a 3rd party. When I arrived, the staff took my credit card and ran it again, which I thought was for incidentals. At this time, I have been double charged for two nights stay. Hopefully, one of the charges will drop off. Only other thing is that the room was a little humid. The air conditioning did not eliminate the humidity in the room. But other than these two items, all else was great and would stay again.

All staff were Northwoods friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The king room was spacious and comfortable, two recliners in front of the fireplace very welcome. The glass doors opened onto an overlook of the woods and pleasant seating to watch deer. Pool and hottub were clean, large deck off the pool area had heaters, firepits, and abundant seating. Bikes were available at reasonable cost to ride the extensive trail network right from the property.

Breakfast was nice, Continental: Bagels, English muffins, Muffins/Donuts verities, microwaveable Breakfast sandwiches (Biscuit egg, sausage, cheese), Yogurts, Fresh fruit, Hard boiled eggs, Cereals, Coffees, Milk, Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice etc.

Sorry, I can’t think of anything. If I had to come up with something, a few more electronic USB plugs, there were 2 in the base of the lamp. That’s the best I can do.

The breakfast was great! The grounds were absolutely gorgeous! The environment was super peaceful and relaxing! The blush towels in the bathroom were a joy! The entire complex was super clean! Thanks for the free deer print!

The bed was hard to get into due to being close to the wall and heater. We just had a double bed room!

Large room size was wonderful and enjoyed the patio. Hot tub was a super size.

Upon arrival the room was not supplied with towels. The lighting in the room was poor. The lobby did not have enough seating to accomodate guests for breakfast. Disabled parking too far from entry.

Breakfast was fine. Worked out well could eat and then get ready for our day.

Everything was excellent. Price a bit more than we would normally spend because of being retired but sometimes its nice to just treat yourself. Had a great time. Love the area.

This is a wonderful find in the north woods. It’s very comfortable and clean. The staff is lean but fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. While it’s not on a lake, it’s very close to a number of them and an easy drive to some excellent restaurants.

The hotel breakfast wasn’t the best but with COVID precautions, it’s understandable. Everything is prepackaged. But it’s enough to get you started with restaurants very close by. Check to see when the restaurants are open as staffing issues is causing places to limit hours.

Small resort beautifully maintained by friendly staff. Reasonable rates for everything that is provided, our room, like many of them at the resort include a gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub at no extra charge. Breakfast is included, and is good quality with lots of selection. Clean and spacious rooms and comfortable beds. I love the Deer people paintings throughout the resort, my grandkids love searching for the hidden mouse in each one! Nice pool and hot tub, and best of all, the resort is smack dab on top of the snowmobile trail! If you stay here, we strongly recommend you try the two restaurants located directly on each side, Bonnie Blink and the White Tail Restaurant (no relation to the hotel). Love this place, and will be back again and again!

I don't like the fact that we haven't been here during the beautiful summer months, only during snowmobiling season! Will remedy that this year, love this place and the area is absolutely stunning for anything outdoors you could want to do.

It was good… but knowing how many guests each night, they should know how much food to prepare!!!! Once out of everything by 9:00 am. !

Dream room facilities were excellent. Fireplace was nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hot tub and pool was great.

Staff was often missing from desk. They were very helpful but often not present. Rooms seemed a bit dated and could use a refresh. Breakfast could have been a little updated compared to other places. The couch was sagging and there was no desk in the room.
