Align Inn Vermont

A very helpful guy on reception kindly swapped our room by the road for one at the back. Very comfortable and convenient setting just across the road from Quechee Gorge. It was next to a pub with very good food and live music. We ate there both nights. The Quality Inn breakfast was good with cereals, bagels, yoghurt, waffle maker etc. It was seven miles from beautiful Woodstock where we walked a couple of trails in the Rockefeller National Historic Park. One minor irritation. There was a sliding door (which just closed with a small hook) to the bathroom and in the same area was the clothes storage, fridge and coffee maker. An unusual arrangement!

Easy to find, walking path accessible to reach restaurants, shops and the Quechee Gorge State Park. Comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom, and delicious breakfast (we really enjoyed the waffle maker, but there was also bagels, English muffins, cream cheese, nutella, breakfast sandwiches, cereals, etc.). The staff was really nice too. Would definitely go back.

The hotel is right by the side of the road, some may find it noisy but it did not bother us and we slept perfectly well.

The Inn is a good value. Cost is reasonable, location is fantastic for accessing the many varied activities and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom spotless. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The mattress was quite comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast was a nice bonus with waffles and breakfast sandwiches available in addition to muffins, cereal, toast, etc. There are not a lot of options for basic lodging in the area and I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was fairly basic but had everything we needed. Bathroom was small, but again, met our needs.

The room was clean and roomy, with a very comfortable king bed. Everything was in good repair. It was nice to have a covered walkway in front of rooms on the rainy days. The indoor pool was delightful with perfectly warmed water. Breakfast was okay with numerous self serve options.

Lighting for reading could have been better, but was similar to other hotels.

Location is great, right across from Quechee State Park, literally 4 minute walk. Pool was heated and well maintained. Rooms are nice, modern and well kept.

Our mattress was a little worn down and caused some back issues. I think it was just luck of the draw. I spoke to the concierge and he seemed to take note of it. I doubt other rooms would have this problem but I would love for them to fix it if possible. This won’t deter us from coming back however.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was good size. The coffee maker and hairdryer were accessible. The pillows were fluffy and there were more than two per bed. The outdoor chairs were in a shady place on a hill.

We enjoyed the fact that there was a restaurant a few yards away. We just walked up a little path in the woods for lunch and supper! There was really nothing to complain about. Plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, and soap for my husband and I.

everything was exceptional. terrific staff. affordable and clean facilities and room. complimentary breakfast…what more can one ask for?

traffic along US-4E can get pretty busy depending on the time of day you’re coming or going. sometimes requires additional planning/leaving early if you’re prone to leaving last minute for work and whatnot

The door to the bathroom doesn’t seal completely (it’s a barn door) so you need to be extra considerate when doing a #2. There are bathrooms in the lobby that are an option if you want to spare your roommate(s).

Everything from the location, the grounds, the environment , our room, the continental breakfast, and all amenities. One kind of gave us a hard time at first but never ran into him again for the rest of our stay. Hoping to come up every year and make it a possible tradition.

That one particular staff giving us a hard time at first but then everything was ok.
