Comfort Inn Murray – Salt Lake City South

I was surprised at the price/value for my week-long stay, which I believe was less than $100.00 per night (taxes, fees, etc. included). The Hotel was less than 1/4-Mile from I-15; and I could usually get to Downtown within approximately 10-20 Minutes, with significant ease of access to and from Freeway. Since the weather was pleasant, I sat outside, at night, several times; and never felt the slightest concern for my safety nor intrusion from non-guests at the Hotel. This was despite the fact that the Hotel was located within very short distance from a Hospital, Shopping, Fuel/Service Centers, Office Buildings, and other important features/attractions. All rooms appear to be new or newly renovated.

We reserved a king-size bed, and the mattress was very comfortable compared to most hotel beds. I have a bad back and usually end up hurting all night; however, I slept very well, and the following day my back did not hurt. Also, the continental breakfast that was provided was very nice.

There is nothing that I didn't like.

The staff was great booking .com screwed me over so it's best not to use booking .com they give you runaround and nothing gets solved ask to talk to supervisor and told have to call back in half hour even know you've been on hold close to 45 minutes

It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The guy that checked us in asked if we had reservations and then continued to ask me and my husband how old we were. If we reserved a hotel, obviously we’re old enough. And either way, he was going to need my ID, he could’ve taken my age off that. I just thought it was disrespectful, especially the way he asked. Then he gave us attitude the whole time afterwards.

Location for my needs, I have stayed there a number of times and will continue to stay there when I am in the area.

Outside was under renovation so entering the building from parking lot was not available. Small inconvenience.

Free toiletries, and free breakfast

Lots of parking in the back, but no parking for motorcycles to keep a watch on you motorcycle. Noisy because of the highway traffic. Vending machine took my money and the hotel won’t reimburse your money. I lost 4.00

Quiet location, but very easy access to interstate north- or southbound. Waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, apples, juice and coffee available for breakfast. Indoor pool and hot tub. Helpful staff. Stayed multiple nights and will come again.

Breakfast Buffet, although the hotel is very close to freeway I didn't hear freeway noise in the room.

I added a night to my reservation a week prior. The process was not smooth. This isn't a complaint to Comfort Inn. The problem was booking.com, they sent a request to Comfort Inn then required 48 hours to get a reply that never came. Called Comfort Inn after waiting and paid 20% more for the second night. The breakfast buffet was great, the staff friendly. Just wont use booking.com again

The staff was on top of everything. I had left the key card in tbe room and when I realised my problem told the night clerk what had happened and he issued another card and even joked and eased the stupid feeling I had of myself. And in every interaction with him it was meet with the same kindness.

I think the only thing that could have made the stay anymore pleasant would have been a change in tbe storm that rolled through. I think he would have tried if given the chance.

It was very close to the hospital my daughter was at, the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

There were guests giving the desk clerk a hard time and I think it may have affected her mood. Honestly it would mine too. And my Air conditioner/ heater didn't work.
