La Quinta by Wyndham Houston Stafford Sugarland

The room was clean and had been recently renovated. The television was great, as well as the coffee maker to make hot water for some late night soup. The location is excellent next to local eateries as well as access to the expressway. Customer service was excellent and breakfast was warm and good.

We were in a room with a door that joins the next room and we didn't know the other guests, but they were a little loud and it carried over to our room. The tub water drained extremely slow so we were left to end our shower in a flooded tub. The new bed set up is made of metal so each time I turned on the bed it was squeaky and that became annoying really quick. Mattress was a little too uncomfortable for me but it was a place to rest so it did it's job.

The room just felt Damp and Moist. There was a leak under the bathroom sink which took them 2days to fix. In the meantime , it got moldy and black flys appeared. I am extremely allergic to mold after the sink was fixed and I cleaned everything up it was ok. Also, the pool seemed like it needed more chlorine as the water looked a little greenish and felt greasy.

99 % of staff was great...one lady at night was hard to deal with. Thank God I only dealt with her once. The other 2 night ladies were great. Cleaning staff was limited to help keep them safe?

No breakfast? And when will hotels do coffee and continental breakfasts again. Restaurants are open for love of God. Laundry room was closed. Kinda not understanding cleaning staff limits cause what happens to one nighters rooms? No service or left for a day? This hotel is up for sale by corporate and don't want to keep investing I guess...like breakfast...and bath tub plug did not work...to take a bath was impossible.

It was very clean and good breakfast.

The room was VERY small. My daughter, son in law and 5 grandkids stopped by for a visit while we were in town the only sitting furniture was a bed and desk chair. No couch or anything else

The room was decorated very nicely and it was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Overall a very good hotel for a very good price.

The hallways were hot, but that would be the only thing.

We loved our stay at La quinta, it was kids friendly too. We were super comfortable.

The only thing flaw was there was no bottled water or shampoo conditioner that i found really off.

Close proximity to relatives.. Staff very friendly.

Beds were too firm. Guest rooms were given a card on file and staff requested guest for form of payment. Rooms provided by their mother.Had to call to get them to credit back my daughter. I got the rooms for them. Staff was apologetic and fixed the issue.

Breakfast was not granted which was a slap to the face since I picked the location for the breakfast alone other than that it was a good stay no issues with anything else other than the breakfast that’s all

Customer Service was good. Had an issue turning on TV and front desk sent someone quickly. Extra towels were provided upon request, and when I requested shampoo it was given as well.

There were no bath soap or shampoo in restroom, I had to request it. There were also no accessible electrical sockets to plug in or to charge our devices. We had to unplug the room clock and move desks/furniture to get to electrical sockets.

Everything else

Upon checking out, went to front desk looking for attendant. A little boy was in back room to which he responded. He was very rude, guessing that was her son, and told me she wasn't around and to leave. I felt disrespected and I'm professional. I have nothing against a mother taking her child to work if it's a must but at least teach him how to be more respectful than when he's home.
