Comfort Suites Alamo Riverwalk

I liked that it was a fair walk from the hotel to the riverwalk location, but it was around alot an area that is dirty.

I didn't like that they charge guest at the hotel parking. They had a huge lot and i understand charging non guest people parking to walk to the riverwalk but guest at the hotel was a little stingy for money. If it means so much add it the room bill. Dont make it seem your a cheaper option for a hotel and charge for parking

The hotel was easy to find, book, and check-in. They had plenty of parking. Although the enclosed parking under the bridge seemed sketchy, nothing happened to our vehicle or the vehicles around us during our stay. The staff was kind and helpful, day crew and night crew alike. The lobby was cleaned often. They also had a mini store area inside the hotel to purchase any necessary items (rr items, snacks). The room was nice and cold when we arrived, also clean and perfect in every way. We had a microwave and mini fridge. The pullout sofa bed worked great, as did the tv. Although the room phone didn't work, we didn't need it. The breakfast had a great selection of warm food and cold food options: Sausage, eggs, make your own waffle station (cinnamon and regular TX waffles, as well as mini waffles for the kids), several kinds of cereals, muffins, toast, fruit, apple juice, orange juice, milk, coffee, and water.... they allow you to take it to your room, which was nice because the breakfast area was really cold. Plenty of seating with a TV in the dining area. Although we didn't use it, the pool and gym looked nice. The hotel was very close to the Riverwalk/Mall. After having a vehicle issue (Due to no fault of the hotel), the staff were very kind and accommodating.

The room phone didn't work, which wasn't a big deal, but should've probably been working.

It was clean, inexpensive. The location was perfect because we wanted to be near the Riverwalk at a good price. The pool & hot tub were nice. We loved the breakfast every morning.

I hated that the WI-FI never worked at all. The bars were there and my ipad connected but I could never watch anything movies. I had to use my phone hot spot. The bed wasn’t comfortable, it was like concave. My husband didn’t sleep right all 3 nights we were there.

It was very beautiful and well maintained. The ENTIRE staff was helpful and hospitable. We have a larger family and they helped us move tables and chairs every morning at breakfast, they made sure my kids had their favorite muffins, the chef gave my oldest son a tour of the kitchen, the housekeepers were on top of the towels and bedding for us, we were greeted with smiles literally every time we walked in or out.

I don’t have any dislikes

The room was great. It was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good; no fruit, but there was a nice variety of food. It was just a few blocks from the Alamo and Riverwalk and we enjoy walking so that was a plus.

The area right around the Hotel was a little sketchy but it was very close to the Riverwalk and we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. The faucet leaked around the handle so we had to use a towel around it to soak up the water. We told the staff when we left.

The staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are a nice size. Quiet. Food delivery from grub hub is great. Lyft service worked well. Good location.. laundry was an excellent feature for our extended road trip.

Keys flaked out and had to be reset. Hot tub down one day. Comfort item, mini store virtually empty.... The wife thought wall paper peeling various rooms was an issue. Pool was pleasant but small with lots of kids. Pool deck very slippery. Tub very slippery surface.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast had a good variety of things. Staff was friendly.

I didn't like having to pay for parking, but you had to do that everywhere in San Antonio. The location was great to the Riverwalk area, but not in the best neighborhood. It seemed that for the size of the hotel that the pool was very small.

The staff was great. The hotel is older but it was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The club behind the hotel is a little noisy but not so bad that you couldn’t sleep. Maybe install some better insulation or noise canceling windows where the rooms face the club area. The pool area and patio is nice but the pool is to small.

The staff Was excellent housekeeping housekeeping, the ladies were very friendly. The maintenance man was very helpful. The outside Of the motel was beautiful, the dining area was beautiful. Is the swimming pool a little too small and way too warm

Rooms weren't too Clean Swimming pool with small for the big motel.

my biggest thing was that a lot of the places you walk in and you could fill the filth on this location you walk in the feels fresh clean and knew it was going to be OK for us to stay there so much as the outside the building was nice just a location was a little bit too crazy but overall we were OK was a bit concerned about our vehicle again due to the location but overall it was good.
