Island Hotel Port Aransas

parking lot was clean ice machine worked, breakfast was fresh and hot. more options this time. Ladies gave towels when asked services prompt clean room no sand on floors beds were clean, the maids are doing great a few months ago it wasn’t this clean they are stepping up there game here. my fourth time here

the pool was cleaned the same day but it still looked dirty too much chlorine maybe? maybe pressure washing the stairs and around the property to make it look cleaner noticed some mold/ mildew by the stairs on the lower floor so there was no wet sign someone could sue so I would definitely get that checked out and have your staff put a sign and block it off

The Manager and her staff are very fast in fixing any problem. We had a problem with the TV and the manager and her maintenance person came right away and fixed the TV problem.The staff is friendly. Also I had surgery and couldn't walk upstairs and the manager placed us down stairs in room for handicap and I loved it. I love how the manager was so nice to me and my Husband. This manager is a excellent manager. I love this place and I will most definitely be back again.

I love everything and nothing We did not like.

The location. The staff. The maintenance department. The refrigerator in our room was not properly working, with a baby who needed milk, this was not good. I notified the night clerk and she quickly made accommodations for my food to be stored in a hotels refrigerator until our rooms refrigerator was replaced by the maintenance staff. They did a great job, I greatly appreciate them.

The noise of the young kids at 3am., Loud music. Young couples arguing.

The front desk staff was exceptional! I travel a lot and never had such a great experience with the front desk. Friendly, professional, accommodating, you name it, it all was there. No carpet in the room, loved it. You know you are not stepping on on some nasty stuff. Hotel is right off the highway and few dining options within walking distance.

Beds are very uncomfortable and AC is super loud, it was hard to sleep. Really poor breakfast. We had to go look for something to eat in the morning and it was not in the budget because we book a hotel with breakfast. Grounds around the hotel are trashy, it might not be hotel’s property but it looks sketchy.

The room was spacious and CLEAN. The linens smelled clean. Not like bleach, but clean. The breakfast was good, but needed protein. Who doesn't love a Texas waffle? The coffee was hot and plentiful, and there was plain 1/2 & 1/2. PERFECT. There was even a nice tea selection! Yay! I needed a clean and safe place to sleep, not fancy. Island hotel delivered on my needs.

I would have liked protein besides the single serve peanut butter, with breakfast. I know people will make fools of themselves with bacon or sausage, or even eggs, but they have some other single serve options that might work for folks with concerns of blood sugar spikes.

This is our 3rd year staying here and ill be coming here every time i visit PA.staff is very nice , i love the location not to close but not far from center with drive around in golf carts .rooms are always very clean beds are comfortable,breakfast is good but we always go eat out anyways...pool is very clean overall i really like this place and me and family will make Island hotel our stay hotel every time we come to PA.. The rates are very reasonable too...i highly recommend..Thanks to all staff for making our stay in suit C& D at hotel to a 100% satisfactory💓💓💓

There was a wide variety of breakfast item's and plenty of it. Clean space to eat and bonus pool table and ping pong table that my family enjoyed. We also found a list of pet friendly restaurants. That was great. We tried Lelo's . Great family and pet atmosphere. Good food and drinks.

Access to the beach would have been nice. Or at least Access to drive a golf cart around would be nice

Breakfast was simple, cereal, waffles, muffins, and fruit. Clean and spacious dinning area. Rooms was plenty big and easy to clean if puppies made a mess. Room AC was kicking so we stayed cool in the heat. Away from the traffic but minutes from the beach access. Pool stayed open late. Great place.

not much of a view, ice maker was down, other then that, great place.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was good offered a variety of options. Didn't expect the waffle maker since it was not advertised as a hot breakfast, so that was great. Had all the other non hot breakfast items. Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool was great too!

More towels and toilet tissue, but I understand stocking well only leads to theft. But it was still great and I know if we needed more we just had to ask and it would have been provided.

Very clean and the staff was amazing! They were all hard working and friendly. Pet friendly and had plenty of butt buckets around for smokers. There was not a minute that the workers were not cleaning or taking trash to the dumpster. For the price it was awesome!

There is nothing I didn’t like. Close to the beach. And very clean!
