Hyatt House Dallas Las Colinas

The hotel was located very near to the office. The room was very good. As per the images shown. Facilities were adequate. The location is a key and depends on if you want to stay near airport and some corporate offices. The location is overall safe.

The hotel is an open hotel from all sides. The rooms are accessible for anyone who can come out from the road and knock on to your doors. There were no security personnel in the vicinity. Even though the location is safe, you may feel unprotected as there are no boundary walls nor any access check while you enter this hotel. Your keycard to your room is the only point which has access control. Breakfast was unimaginative at best. Same old menu. Looks the chef that they have didn't even try to infuse some variance. There is no restaurant on-site other than the breakfast bar. If you have a hankering for food at late night, only option is to find a restaurant nearby or order it over uber eats or doordash.

Good hot breakfast with plenty of protein options! Clean rooms and great breakfast staff! Deep and warm pool.

Inconsistent information about breakfast hours. Front desk staff said one thing, information on the map said something else, and actual time that breakfast was available was different from either of those. They couldn’t get us keys to the room until the next day because the evening staff couldn’t get it sorted our first night. The pool was always out of towels and the front desk staff seemed clueless about how to handle that. Quiet hours were not enforced so one night there was a lot of noise outside still at 11 pm. Housekeeping didn’t come every day, but on days that they did come they did a great job!

The property is very well kept! The check-in staff are friendly and very responsive to your needs. The rooms are very spacious and clean as well as the appliances. we never had a problem with the water temperature no matter when you used the bath or kitchen. I would definitely stay again!!

I didn’t like the fact that only one staff member came to our room to see if we needed anything and pick up our garbage only 1 day of our 4 day stay. It appeared that they didn’t want to come up those stairs since we were on the 3rd level. We had to go get our own towels . Also, the outside area need to be treated for insects.

We enjoyed the space of our room. We were visiting my son and were able to cook a meal to bring to his home. We appreciated being able to cook and make tea. We were on an extended trip and were so happy to have laundry facilities, open 24/7. Also glad we could charge the laundry rather than use quarters. Reasonably priced. When we asked a for first floor room, we were given one. Breakfast was good; accommodations for all. There was parking available for our large vehicle.

King suite was very spacious. Like a 1 bedroom apartment. Safe area. Comfortable bed. Close to shopping and dining. Friendly staff. Not many channels to choose from but we could stream our own.

At check in we were told by night clerk she could set us up for every other day housekeeping. Day 3 we had to go ask for clean towels. We spent 9 nights and housekeeping came 2 times. They only left 2 bath towels each time.

The hotel was located in a very nice area, with easy access to the highway and other food and shopping options. The rooms are spacious. My room was upgraded by the hotel for free. The front desk lady who checked me in was extremely nice and welcoming. Overall I enjoyed my trip.

I had noted some minor issues during my trip. First, the television options would benefit by an upgrade. Several channels did not work and some were not the ones advertised. The A/c In my room stopped working mid way through my trip. I also saw one room door which is damaged. I also would suggest changing the shower head options. At a hotel, a shower with strong force is always appreciated.

Our trip was for a somewhat sad situation. We had absolutely wonderful and truly caring and attentive staff. Especially Sky and Nancy who had to foot so many phone calls for issues on my side of things. We had almost decided not to stay here again due to our previous two stays, but Sky and Nancy and all of the staff have won me over again. And with all my troubles on my side of things they went out of their way and went above and beyond to make things as easy as possible for me. The room was clean and comfortable. Vary spacious and pleasantly surprised that we got more for less. Two full bedrooms and bathrooms. Little extras such as toiletries and hair dryers and kitchen utensils etc. Soft fluffy towels. Despite Covid restrictions had many facilities open and available. Still had an option for hot breakfast. Super water pressure qhich is a huge thing for me. Just an overall very nice stay despite the reason we had to be in the area.

Minor things but a couple of stains..a chair and spot on carpet. But thankfully they do allow pets and families stay here, so these were understandable and not worth mentioning to staff. A small dingy spot on bathroom wall. I do wish the charging for parking policy would change.

The location is excellent, easy to find and near most shopping in Irving and near some fine restaurants. the checkin process was so very easy, the staff was quite knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly! The rooms are huge and have a fully equipped kitchen. Free breakfast was nice, and the pool area was too. i asked for a 2nd floor room and ended up with a double suite at no additional cost!

The management and staff were the best! They go up and beyond to make sure your satisfied. They took care of my family, which gave me peace of mind, three of the family members had special needs.

There was an initial concern with the first room that was booked, but they resolved it immediately

We had to scramble before check-in because they only take credit cards, no debit cards. We don't use credit cards often. Thankfully it worked out but they should send a notification before you stay so people know. Otherwise, everything else was awesome.
