Holiday Inn Express - El Paso - Sunland Park Area, an IHG Hotel

Modern, clean and comfortable. Exactly what was needed for an overnight stay on a road trip. Shower was nice. Appreciated use of pump dispensers for soaps, lotions, etc. They were much easier to use than those tiny bottles, and better for the environment too. Bed was comfy and there were plenty enough outlets.

They put out only 2 bath towels and there were 3 of us. Would be nice if the print on the dispensers were larger because the bottles look alike. CPAP machine stopped working during the night - perhaps one of us flipped a master switch and wasn’t aware. The desk clerk was friendly but wow he must have been a chain smoker because I thought someone had been smoking inside the lobby - breath mints needed.

A great location, right off the highway but very quite. only about 15-20 mins out from Anthony-if you are planning a trip to Wet N’ Wild. Did like the fact that from 12pm to 5am the front door is locked the only way to gain access is to have a key or have someone at the front desk give you access. Rooms were large, plenty of space. Large bathrooms, did have a blow dryer, Dove products, safe, iron. Not noisy at all especially being on the first floor. Would stay here again ☺️

There was not a way to access different apps on the smart tv. The toilet paper holder was loose/slanted not really mounted correctly. There is no ice machine on the first floor, so you have to go to another floor. Other than that no complaints during our stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the size of the room was a good size. I love how they have dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash and the travel bar of soap. Breakfast was ok, I've stayed at other Holiday Inns and there were more breakfast options available like bacon, egg, sausage patties and different options for the oatmeal. Other than that it was great.

Not to many options for breakfast. The lighting was a little to dim in the restroom for my liking.

The room we received was a very spacious corner room. The bathroom was spacious as well. I really like the layout of the hotel, with elevators on a side corridor and ice maker tucked in at the end to avoid noise to the rooms. Breakfast offerings included eggs and two kinds of sausage.

The location has easy access to the freeway, but we still had trouble locating it initially. We didn't have any other issues.

The place is very new and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Especially the man that stocks the breakfast: 5 stars!! The room was clean, comfortable and just as described. Bed and pillos are comfortable. Plenty of towels. Breakfast is great! They even have a pancake machine that makes them fresh to order. Coffee, eggs, bacon and even cinnamon rolls: hot and delicious. The room had an list of all the main tv channels printed out on the desk.

The soap dispenser in the shower was not working, but the shampoo and conditioner ones worked and there was a bar of soap at the sink. The walls are a bit thin.

Breakfast was good. Had options for all of us including my vegan diet child. The bed was very comfy. Quiet location. Liked they offered Dove shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. Quick access to the elevators. Easy check in process. Computer/printer available to use.

The smell in elevator was strange. TV guide to scan channels quickly wasn't working.

Location for us was ideal, as we were just passing through town and it was not far from the freeway. Breakfast was good, but no waffle maker? Pancake machine on the fritz? Room was very nice, clean and had good amenities.

Need a waffle maker. Fix the pancake machine if no waffle maker.

Friendly and accommodating staff, and very comfortable and sparkling clean room. Breakfast offered was bountiful, with plenty of choices: omelets and sausage kept warm in chafers, variety of breads, bagels, muffins and sweet rolls, freshly made pancakes, and fresh fruit, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, juice and coffee.

The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The room was clean too. The hotel staff was amazing!! The gentleman that worked at the front desk (I really wish I could remember his name) went above and beyond for my sister and I. Truly, one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

Clean, modern, comfortable. Obviously new and state of the art facility - maybe entirely new? The breakfast had a good variety, not just mini-muffins (those too). Convenient location for almost anyone, near I-10 between the north and south parts of the city. Particularly so for me.

I had some trouble signing on to the internet. Could have been my computer.
