Best Western Brenham

The beds were very comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent. Better then the pressure at home. The ac kicked butt! Breakfast was ok I was shocked at how good the biscuits and gravy were. When we were about to go swimming one of the men employees volunteered to skim the pool to get all the bugs out which was very nice. Our last day there we got to breakfast when it was clean up time. The women let us grab some plates before putting everything away which was also nice. We loved that there is a microwave in the room. And the mini fridge also came in handy.

The room had a mildew smell to it. So strong that I ended up buying an air freshener for our room. The carpet seemed dirty and there was an old m&m left on the floor from who knows when.

The location was good - it was very close to the Blue Bell Factory. I like the size of the room and the ammenities. Sizeable mini fridge and a nice seating area with a couch.

No late checkout was available, and that was really annoying. The pool was nice, but the spa/fountain area was really gross. It had clearly not been maintained and had a bunch of debris in it and was green.

Rooms are nice, comfy beds please note, the rooms are accessible from outside. No elevators just stairs. Front side is by highway, you will hear traffic but it’s not bad. Back side is quieter but but pool is there. Not a problem this stay but I could see it a problem with noise if pool is full. Speaking of pool it is outside uncovered and is in need of a good pool person to sweep bugs and leaves. This is a great hotel with good breakfast, staff I will stay again on my next visit! Shout out to Pat from front desk on going above and beyond to help us find a good shopping experience and free entertainment and car show! Locals know all the cheap fun places! Thank you Pat 🙂

Good location, easy to find, just don't miss the exit! Clean room, ac works great and will make it cold! The breakfast is really good, that oatmeal and yogurt bar are my favorite! Friendly staff that remember you from last year top off this nice little hotel!

The pool did not seem like it was the cleanest. It was acceptable for letting my 5 yr old play in for a bit. That was the only drawback!

The property offers large modern huge two room suites including kitchenette, living and TV room with couch and coffee table. TV in bedroom also with a very comfortable mattress.

There is no breakfast, due to Covid but there is coffee and tea available in the morning. They provide a "grab bag" with a granola bar, canned fruit and a muffin or pastry, plus bottled water - so at least it was something. They don't provide housekeeping on a daily basis, so if you require that every day, this place probably isn't where you want to stay.

The property is very close to a major road and it's very noisy while checking in, but we asked for a room on the back end and it was very quiet. We did have to ask twice to get the room we wanted, which was problematic due to the lack of housekeeping on certain days, but it all worked out.

Breakfast was good, room was clean, adjoining rooms was appreciated.

Room was not ready until 3:30. Got to hotel approx 2 -- left to run errands but still wasn't ready at 3. Couldn't find a channel listing for TV. Guide on TV was useful however when there are over 200 channels its difficult to find desired channel ie. Fox news, ESPN, etc

location and cleanliness were great. We were at the end of the breakfast period, so the hot items were a tad cool. Otherwise a good variety and plentiful.

Loose toilet seat in bathroom needed tightening.

Appreciated the way breakfast was done. Provided gloves and low contact machines for pancakes and yogurt. Provided packaged fruit and coffee bar in lobby. Adjoing rooms a big plus for families. Beds very comfy. All areas including walls, doors were clean.

Inconsistencies in staff. Had two ladies check me in that were great. Others were not as helpful and friendly, but did their job. Late night staff did not wear masks at desk when we went down to extend stay.

It was late in the evening when we arrived because the town where we planned to stay had no rooms. Loved that we found this beautiful, comfortable and clean motel after our extra long day of travel. Perfect end to a frustrating day. The hot breakfast was a welcome experience the next morning.

There was absolutely nothing to not like about this awesome facility.
