Sonesta Simply Suites Arlington

Our stay was fantastic! All of the employees were so kind and friendly, and they were very understanding and helpful when I had issues with my debit card upon arrival. I can't thank them enough, especially Laura Mullican and the other female employee at the front desk. (I'm sorry, I didn't get your name!) We stayed in a one-bedroom queen suite. The room was very clean and tidy. There was a microwave, full-sized refrigerator, stove-top, and dishwasher. There was a large-sized pantry, and the cabinets and drawers were well-stocked with everything you would need: glasses, plates, bowls, pans, cup towels, and silverware. There was also a one-cup coffee maker. The shower had great water pressure, with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers on the shower wall. The bed was firm, but not too hard. It was very comfy, and the pillows didn't hurt my neck, which is unusual because they're usually full of air, but these pillows were very nice. There was also a sofa bed in the living room. We didn't use it for the bed, just to sit on and watch TV. The bedroom also had a TV. We stayed 4 nights in August and the room was so cold we almost froze (haha) but we didn't mind. We love a cold room!! Better than too hot!! I do think there might have been an issue with the thermostat, though. We tried to turn it down several times, but it just stayed cold. And several times, there was an error code showing. This hotel is on the Arlington Trolley route, which was wonderful. It runs at various times to many of the attractions nearby. We rode it to Six Flags and back, and it also took us to Globe Life Field for the concert we were attending, and it brought us back. If you want to ride the trolley to a specific event, you may need to make a trolley reservation ahead of time. You can do that through the trolley website. I've added a few pictures from our trolley ride. We will definitely stay here again!!

Love how private the stay is. It is kind of like a self-serve stay. Perfect for my introvert husband and myself. The rooms are cozy and if you want to cook your own meals you can. I loved the location of the hotel, and everything was super close. So much to do!

There wasn't much we didn't like. The only thing that happened was the AC unit started leaking, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. They offered to switch rooms for us, but we declined since it was the last night of our stay.

My boyfriend works night changing blowout and flats tires for several of the police depts. and he has to have easy access to the door. They put us right at the back door it was great.

They charged me almost a $100 for my support dogs, That was a lot of money and I didn't have. Plus I stayed at your Plano they didn't charge me. Because of that charge I won't be back to the Arlington hotel. It was my birthday I didnt get to go to Six Flags because of the extra charge

Great room, full fridge and cooktop. Nice location if you have a car— within 30 minutes from most attractions and great BBQ spots. 15 minutes from airport. Nice gym, free laundry and coffee. Friendly staff.

I had trouble getting my shampoo and body wash dispensers refilled, and trouble getting a final receipt printed or emailed to me. Nothing really within walking distance.

The staff are very nice! We’ve stayed here once before and they remembered us.😊 The property is very clean and super close to Six Flags and all kinds of restaurants. Our room was very big w/a great view of Six Flags. We had a full size refrigerator w/ice maker that worked, stove top, sink, all kitchen supplies, & toaster. They make it easy for you if you want to cook in your room.😃 The bed was very comfortable. There were 3 different types of pillows. The bathroom is a nice size also. Both of us can be in there and not bump into each other. The AC worked great!

Check out is at noon. That’s FANTASTIC!! However I’m guessing a cleaning person came by at 9:00am and tried to open our door! The person didn’t knock first or say who they were. They just put the key in the door and tried to open it, but thankfully we had both locks locked!!!

it was very quiet in the room, I didn’t here cars outside like I normally do in most hotels off the highway, and the bed was super comfortable. I slept like a baby.

there was not a free breakfast and very limited selection in the pantry area. the bottled waters available for purchase were very small and not a huge select of goodies for purchase.

The property was clean and staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! They also have a trolley that will take you to and from Six Flags, AT&T stadium, Globe life field and a few others I don’t remember. it was a very short drive to everywhere we wanted to be as well. Will be my choice of stay every time we visit Arlington!

We loved the gazebo out back. Loved taking a trolley from the hotel to the ballpark. Had our own mini apartment.

The gazebo was dirty after others would cook and drink. That was out of the hands of the staff though. The mattress was thin and really hard. You could easily hear people above you walking around.

The staff polite ..the room & the hotel was very clean & atmosphere very peaceful.

The employees are very nice. We always stay here when we come into town and the employees recognize us.😃 They remember certain things about us. It’s also quiet.

We stayed for a week and house keeping doesn’t change the towels or linen until after a week. If you want anything changed, you have to do it yourself.
