Polynesian Oceanfront Hotel

loved the fav that it’s right on the beach and for the price, it was so worth it. we had a pool right outside our room that the kids enjoyed every single day. the hotel right next door has bowling, an arcade, a bar, and a 9th floor restaurant we ate at and watched dolphins play in the ocean. we had an amazing vacation thanks to the money we saved staying at this property. the two bedroom suite was like having our own little apartment in Myrtle beach.

we did spit a roach here and there, but nothing two awful and we expected to see some so close to the ocean. the hotel sprayed for them right away and we never saw any again the rest of our stay.

The faculty was very nice to me I had no problems I didn't get my ocean front view but I enjoyed my stay

Of course the ocean but the guest was really nice the room was very clean I had a stove refrigerator I really enjoyed myself

The Oceanview king room was incredible. This was my 4th visit to myrtle beach. Our room had a kitchen as well as a balcony. What more could we need! 2 out of 4 burnes on the stove worked, which was all we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked except for a cooking pan for the oven, although I'm not sure the oven worked. Didn't need it was we had a microwave also. The fridge was full size and kept our drinks nice and cold! The bathroom sink pipes did leak when using the sink, but they had us stocked with several towels so it was no problem to keep one under the sink for the leak. We did not spend all that much time in the room of course, whether we were out and about or sitting on the balcony. It was excalty what we needed and the price was right. Wish we never had to leave!

The locks on the door were very close to the door frame, and I would scratch my knuckles, locking and unlocking the door. Deep enough for blood on some occasions. This was probably my own fault, but it was just about the only thing that I could complain about.

The price was absolutely great the place has three different pools Parking isn’t a problem

The room that I stayed wasn’t that bad it just needed a few maintenance but I think if they give a good maintenance to some rooms it would be an excellent place for everyone now my room was like that I don’t really know if all of them are like the one I stayed I do believe this place have a great potential just need a good upgrade here and there to become a great place to stay now I’m. It saying is bad but it could be a little better

The location was awesome as being a pet friendly establishment. This is always a deal sealer for me. The staff was great. Overall, my stay here was comfortable, I had a nice time with my 4-legged babies...thank you!

I paid a $100 cash deposit (to be returned upon checkout), but checked out 4 hours early. The lady said she would have to mail it to me, because the cash was in the safe and only managers could open it and they would not get there till 8:00 a.m.. I suppose this is a way to keep everybody safe however two weeks later I still have not received my deposit, not even in the mail. Nor has anyone called to keep me posted. I would like to know what is going on.

Our ocean front room was clean and had updated kitchen area. All cooking supplies were provided. The room had all new flooring and 2 comfortable queen beds. Shower pressure was great. Staff always busy cleaning hallways and outdoor public areas. This is an older Myrtle Beach hotel that offers affordable accommodations not luxury.

Not adequate parking on site but they offer parking across the street. New laminate floors always feel wet. We left towels on floor to walk. Sliding glass doors are original to building and are heavy and difficult to open and close.

I loved the location and the beds were so comfortable. When I was checking in, and the lady was extremely nice. The view is absolutely amazing and I would definitely stay here again. We were given so many towels and I felt so safe the entire stay.

The reason I didn’t rate this is a 10 would have to be because I had to go searching for a luggage cart when leaving, and when checking out, the lady (different one) working the front desk was complaining that her paycheck doesn’t pay peoples deposits? Just seemed extremely rude. So lots of differences in the employees for sure. Also the bed only had sheets, so bring your own blanket!

I liked the updated rooms and the fact that the staff made sure we had as many toiletries as we needed. The pools were nice and clean and the hotel has an attached garage, which is convenient. I liked that the front office called us the first night to make sure our accommodations met our expectations. Our room was stocked with dishes, which was awesome!

There was some hair in the shower stuck in the curtain crease that wasn't ours, and paint chips on the floor inside of the door. The bathtub constantly dripped. Otherwise, it met our expectations! I would stay there again.

I enjoyed the peace while being there.. services were great! Staff was friendly. I also liked the fact that the maids waited until a reasonable hour to knock on doors to swap out towels. The workers had worked extra hard throughout the hours to keep the parking lot clean and its surroundings. Pools were kept clean and I liked that there were codes to get into the pool so not just anyone could get into them.

I didn't like the fact that people staying there would throw trash on the ground even though there were trash cans everywhere.

Beds slept great! Pillows were great also. New paint and flooring in room. Great water pressure in shower. Beautiful view.

Down side, air conditioner unit was old but effecient. Keys needed for entry. Floors needed to be mopped. Public access right beside hotel meant a lot of people around and on the beach. Pools were really crowded. Not sure all swimmers were guests. So many teenagers!
