Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Akron Fairlawn

Everything at this facility was top notch. The staff, room, breakfast, pool/spa. I can’t think of anything that needs improvement. Thank you for providing a property that was even better than advertised (which never happens). I’d definitely stay there again.

Absolutely nothing

The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Everyone (desk staff, maintenance staff) went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had a good stay and our grandkids enjoyed a nice swim in the pool which was an extra plus for us. There are a lot of hotels in this area but I would choose this one again, in large part because the staff here were genuinely nice people and made our stay very comfortable

We always stay here it is close to our son, DIL and grandson!

The only thing I didn’t like was that the huge hold on my credit card that I guaranteed the room when booking was charged $310.00 even after I checked in and told them I was paying with a different card! The card that was charged the hold was our checking account and they took ALL of our extra cash! Very inconvenient for us. I can understand a hold but $310.00 was way too much and it will not be reversed for several days!!

Located far enough off the highway so there wasn't a lot of traffic or noise, breakfast was really good and sometimes went after 9 am. Lobby was spacious and modern. Pool was small, but jacuzzi was large.

The mini fridge was set to arctic ice.

Close to Cuyahoga National Park. Staff are very nice, polite and patient. Clean. I like the swimming pool and whirlpool.

Reserved the rooms through Booking.com, some misunderstood between booking.com and the hotel. Other than that, all is super.

It was a great location to the Crystal clinic where I was having some minor surgery. Staff was great.

I was disappointed in the fact that the hot tub has been broke for 6 months and could not use the pool as it was reservation only. Also I have never stayed in a hotel where there were no toiletries in the bathroom of any kind, no shampoo no conditioner no soap nothing.

Great breakfast with a lot of options, friendly staff, plenty of parking, clean rooms with large bathroom. TV has Netflix.

Housekeeping skipped us on Day 2, and there weren't any doorknob signs for us to indicate we wanted cleaning or privacy, etc. This seems like a pretty standard thing at most hotels. Connecting to WiFi with Marriott is a bit more of a chore than it usually is elsewhere.

Marion at front desk was great Good location for our activities. Near Cuyahoga National Park and Harrison Lake.

Air condition in room was terrible! Very loud and whiny and didn't cool the room well

We enjoyed our stay very much we were only there for one night but everyone was kind and courteous the breakfast was great the lady that worked in the breakfast area help me to prepare a plate for my husband who was not feeling well couldn't ask for anything better

A little pricey for us if we're retired living on a budget but for the experience the cleanliness and the staff we were happy that we stayed there

we had problems with the air conditioning settings. Settled on good enough. very loud. There was a power outage all morning. Not the hotels fault. They managed to give us a decent breakfast. Impressive.
