Comfort Inn Cleveland Airport

Convenient for visiting family and friends in near by area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff is very friendly. Normally we camp with our travel trailer at the Fair Grounds but we sold it and now will be make this hotel our home base when coming back home.

Our and I’m guessing the rooms are in need of updating. The security door latch was just about falling off and parts of the window hardware were missing, that aloud more noise in the room. I did report this to the maintenance man to put on his repair list. We didn’t need to have that done immediately. He was gracious about my reporting items for his “honey to do list”.

The super-king room was on the third floor, but was easily reached via elevator. The moving of luggage was facilitated by carriers provided by the motel. There was a fitness room right down the hallway from our room. The RTA (public train), Brookpark station on the Red Line, was only an 8-minute drive away and was a thrifty and quick way to get around Cleveland. The $5 day pass was especially handy. Cleveland has a wealth of historical, cultural and artistic sites to choose from. The motel day person was very helpful. Breakfast was provided each morning, including eggs, bagels, oatmeal, etc. The overall price was quite reasonable. Right across Engel Road (Rt. 291) there was a great Lake-to-Lake trail.

Because the supply chain has been greatly influenced by COVID-19, the motel internet was down during our stay. A modem fix was needed, but not easily forthcoming. Not the motel's fault. There is a Middleburgh Heights Public Library within practically walking distance from the motel (on 71N), with accessible internet. Also a McDonald's practically right around the corner.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and transferred me to 3 different rooms because there were problems with the 1st 2. Also like the proximity to restaurants

1st room Smelled of smoke and sounded like someone was running a drill frequently. It was the elevator. 2nd room stank of fish. Refrigerator didn't work and someone had left something in it that wasn't cleaned out. Mattress in 3rd room was saggy and hard and 2 light bulbs were just flat missing

The person there when we checked in was very friendly. The room was a decent size. Close to restaurants and other places.

A few cosmetic issues in our room but nothing awful. The eggs at breakfast were rather rubbery, they weren't scrambled but over hard and just very rubbery

Really liked their bedding and fridge and microwave .the staff was very warm and friendly.I was there 6 notes and all and all it was as pleasant stay.

Thought I was getting handicap accessible walk in shower but it was just a tub with a handheld shower I have trouble stepping in and out of tubs.The chair to sit and relax in was uncomfortable had to use office chair as a foot stool other than that the room was great.

The location was perfect for visiting family and touring places we wanted to go. The breakfast was complete with everything a person would want.

The staff could have been a little friendlier.

My daughter had an early flight out of the Cleveland Airport. It was only 10 minute drive. Lots of food choices for dinner. The front desk lady was super friendly

Nothing.... everything was perfect

Everything at the hotel was wonderful, our room was bigger than usual, and very quite never heard any noise. The bed was very comfortable, and we sleep so good.

The only thing I can say that we didn't like was that our toilet would continuously ran after flushing it, but it would stop if you wiggled it.

The quiet and location

I was expecting a clean room everyday but instead they tell me I have to request to have the room clean and clean washcloths and towels. It was very quiet and I loved that. Also the breakfast was very poorly for the money I pay. Ohio is very different than NY good breakfast and clean room everyday sorry for being so honest but it the reality. Thanks for your business.

The staff were very nice, especially Marcos as he even helped us with a situation and made our day better. Also when we needed extra towels and such the staff was very attentive to our needs. I definitely would recommend this hotel when visiting the the Cleveland airport or Cleveland area.

There was no pool, but that was due to COVID and we had to pay to swim for a public pool.
