Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Smithfield/Selma, an IHG Hotel

Clean, use of Hand Sanitizer, friendly and courteous staff. This is me and my family's second trip here.

guests in next room to me, kids were extremely loud and running back and forth in room.( first night). The second night, room above me, was extremely noisy and walked around in room back and forth until early next Morning around 4am. they were extremely loud as well, and also parking lot area extremely noisy second night... My family and I have stayed here before. This trip was for a funeral. Couldn't reach outlet to plug up microwave.

The breakfast had a good assortment of choices, some hot and cold. The veggie omelets were very tasty. Having two choices of sausage was also nice. Oatmeal and pancakes were also good options.

The pancakes were very small. You do get two, but they are minimal. It would also be nice to have hot syrup. I did not see any, and honestly, I did not ask a server.

Alicia, the front desk clerk, is TOTALLY AWESOME! She turned my quickly 'going bad' birthday weekend into one of the BEST the birthdays I've had. Our room was beautiful, clean and we were able to have a late check out. The awesome breakfast bar made my birthday breakfast in bed extra special. Thank you Alicia and Holiday Inn Express!!

clean, perfect size rooms for our family of 5. hotel was responsive when other guests were playing their music too loudly and the other guests turned the music down immediately. front desk staff were friendly and housekeeping responded immediately to request for additional towels. walking distance to outlets.

the pool was closed and breakfast didn’t start until 7am and we had to leave by 6:30am so we didn’t get to sample breakfast

Good location, close to the highway and many restaurants. The place was clean and room was big. A good place to stay for a night but probably wouldn't book for a longer stay.

The price was way too high for what you get. I booked a nicer hotel in Orlando for a third of a price so I'm not really sure why this place is this expensive. Didn't see any nice options for less in the area so maybe it's not about this hotel but about a town in general?

The room was much larger than I thought it would be. Excellent! Breakfast was good for ala cart.

More towels in room. But I was able to get from front desk. The girl at front desk deserves a raise the computers were down so she was unable to check every one in the proper way and her shift ended at 11 and she returned in morning. Not everyone was nice and understanding of situation and she remained cool and calm. I am sure she wanted to go in a corner and cry or start screaming ( I wouldn't have blamed her)

We booked the rooms at last minute for an overnight stay on our way home from vacation. The desk clerk was very friendly and fast and efficient getting us checked in and ready to go to our rooms. The next morning while checking out the ladies at desk were also fast and efficient with getting our receipt for us. The continental breakfast was nice and welcomed. The little details like soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were wonderful so I didn't have to dig through a weeks worth of packing to find mine.

This hotel was very neat and clean. The staff was very pleasant. Check-in was a breeze.

The only reason I gave 8 stars instead of 10 is because there weren’t enough towels and when asked of housekeeping, she said she didn’t have any towels on her cart and that I should call front desk. I also fell in this very slippery tub. When I called down to the front desk 3 times, there was no answer. Overall, our stay was great.

The hotel was very very clean, that is something that really makes me feel comfortable. The room was very big. The breakfast was nice, the pancake machine made delicious fresh pancakes. The coffee was good. Beds and pillows were fluffy and comfy. We will come again. Thank you!

Maybe add hash browns? hehe

the location close by restaurants, entertainment.

didn’t like that the walls are thin. people can easily hear you. and the people above us was loud because we can easily hear their footsteps. the breakfast was good but some of the bananas were over ripped and no condiments like ketchup/hot sauce. saw few ants in the coffee section where sugars are.
