The Windsor - Asheville

We had a very nice stay at the Windsor. The hotel has an ideal location for a foodie tour of downtown Asheville. We walked to Curate, Chai Pani, Cucina24, and there were so many other choices. The room was very well stocked, we especially liked the coffee set up in the room, full kitchenette and complimentary drinks in the lobby. The service was very good with great communication and lots of information when we needed it. The king bed was comfortable and the bedroom was very quiet and dark (off the street).

The room air conditioner in the bedroom leaked condensation water into one of our suitcases, soaking most of the clothing one of us brought. Luckily, there was a washer-dryer in the room and the staff was responsive to our issue, ultimately rebating a portion of the room rate for one night. We would have like some sort of table and chairs for eating. Also the shower was quite small, but certainly usable.

I loved everything about this place! We actually got married in one of their beautiful suites and it was a huge hit with everyone who traveled to be there. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, nice, or helpful. I think they were just as excited as we were! Definitely recommend!!

The one and only thing I didn't like was their parking lot being a few blocks away and out of sight. There is a paid parking deck just feet away from the hotel and definitely worth it.

This is a great little hotel with full service rooms that include washer and dryer and full kitchen. The furnishings are modern and funky, the location is central to shopping and sightseeing.

The only complaint I have is my room was facing the street and it was very loud at night, into the wee hours, making sleep difficult. I stayed in room 206. Next time I will request a quiet room, central part of the hotel

We enjoyed the special touches of robes, slippers, free snacks, soft drinks, coffees and teas. Free parking was great even if it was off site. The walk was three minutes. The staff were very friendly. The suite was lovely, clean and the hotel had a fun decor.

I wish the hotel had let us know sooner about the discount they could get us for the Biltmore Estate tour. I had already booked our tickets and the discount offer came a week before our stay. I had emailed the hotel to ask about a possible discount after the purchase but did not hear back.

It is more like having an apartment than a hotel room. There are closets and storage. Friends staying down the street at the AC had none. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The full sized washer and dryer were a real plus. I would put my daily clothes in the machine and then ran one load on the last night. The premium coffee and beverage station in the lobby was great.

The parking is a bit distant, but free. I never had a problem finding a space.

Such a wonderful gem of a hotel. Perfect location for our weekend visit to Ashville. A family of 5 is always difficult but this was a perfect spot with two queens and a pullout sofa. The kitchen and laundry were an added bonus. Staff was wonderful and always helpful. Free snacks and drinks in the lobby were a welcomed touch.

Everything about The Windsor Boutique Hotel was fabulous. Can’t say enough good things about the Windsor, the staff was professional, engaging, & helpful. The accommodations beautifully decorated, comfortable, welcoming & cozy, Bed was super comfortable, Attention to detail like I’ve never seen in any resort or hotel. When we walked in the door… I said “ I’m home”. Will most definitely return to The Windsor boutique hotel. If you are in Asheville NC treat yourself & stay at the The Windsor Hotel on Broad.

The decor was beautiful. Once we arrived we were greeted at the door and the staff was very helpful. It was kind of a challenge finding where to unload luggage.

The only complaint was the location. Because it was downtown, the street noise was loud and parking was sketchy. It was about a block from the hotel.

Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed and living room. Complimentary beverages were nice. We wished we had booked more nights. The hotel was right in the middle of everything in downtown Asheville. We will definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the area it was located in. There was lots to do. We also liked how big the bathroom was. Everything was very comfortable and cozy and clean.

We didn't like that parking was away from the building but that's only a minor complaint as it wasn't an issue. The parking lot was easy to get to and park in.
