La Quinta by Wyndham North Platte

The hotel is right off the highway. It is just one of cit down from Walmart and multiple restaurants and other stores as well. The staff were amazing and very polite. The room was super nice and spacious and was a fantastic price!! The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was really good except the biscuits were cold and had to be crumbled up for the gravy to be put on them. The facility needs a microwave for warming them up or even just a warmer for them.

The top edges of the pool are in desperate need of a good cleaning. while in the pool you could scrap the sludge off the top tiles(gross I know). The top “ring” that covers the screws on the disability bar in the shower needs to be fixed. (it’s on, it just needs to be put back into place)

We really enjoyed our stay- even though it was only for one night. Wish we had brought our bathing suits! This was a last minute booking, and the room was very affordable, very clean and comfortable, great shower and bathroom facilities as well. The breakfast is the best I have seen when traveling across the states, and the man who was facilitating was very polite and helpful. Great food, lots of choices, very generous. This is a pet friendly hotel, which didn't matter to us since we didn't have a pet along, but it is well worth knowing. We also got to meet some very cute dogs-always a bonus in our books. Both front desk workers were very helpful and polite. Great stay.

The beds are always comfortable at LaQuintas. The room, lobby, pool area, breakfast area- were all neat and clean. It’s very welcoming! We had pets and they have great green space with side entrance and walking trails across the road. Pool area has a beautiful pool and hot tub. Great chairs to sit in for larger people! Staff was incredibly friendly. Best hotel breakfast we’ve had! Hot and cold options with gluten free bread choices.

Beds were small- doubles vs queens, but it did state that in the booking. Very comfortable beds.

The room was spacious. It had a great desk for me to set up my computer and do a bit of work. Lots of plugins for all my stuff. Lighting was excellent. Bathroom fan worked (we were traveling for 6 nights and this hotel was the only one of the 6 where the bathroom fan worked), breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff was great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Everything was great. I can't honestly think of anything that should be changed.

Location: Hotel is right off the freeway and there is a restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast: they had gluten free bagels! Pet Policy: there were a lot of pets and there was little or no charge to have a pet with you. They kept the rooms and outside clean. There is a fenced in grassy area at the back with garbage and bags to pick up after your pet. They keep the third floor pet free which is nice for people with allergies.

Kind of funny. I was not told checkout time when I checked in. The emergency exit sheet on the back of my room door said checkout time was 12:00 noon. I started getting calls from the front desk at 10:50, telling me that checkout time was 11:00. I mentioned to them that their own paperwork said 12:00 noon. They were unaware of this. No big deal, just rather funny that they didn't know.

Good value for the full scale services provided. The breakfast host was extremely hospitable. Breakfast items were nicely presented and kept plentiful. He even offered to refill my coffee for me!!

The leisure chair in our room 210 was dirty and worn. Probably should be replaced. The bathtub shower had rather poor work done to prevent leaking on the floor. The result is shoddy and needs better repair

Convenient location easy off / on to interstate. friendly staff.

Smokers right by the entrance door so the smoke comes into the lobby and onto the elevator. The room had a strong unpleasant dog/animal odor even after using disinfectant spray. Would be nice if rooms were available for those who are allergic to animals. There should be an option to book a NON-pet friendly room.

There were quite a few selections for breakfast. The room was very well laid out. Didn't notice any maintenance issues which was almost unheard of these days. Very pet friendly!

I am not a dog person. Sorry. Seems like everyone else staying there had dogs. I didn't find any dog hair in my room, but there was a faint smell on the bed, and the furniture was frayed and dirty.

Clean, comfortable. Easy on/off Interstate Frig, microwave, and coffee maker in room.

There was a large dog allowed in the breakfast area and owners seated themselves just adjacent to the food. Altho dog was well behaved, I have to wonder what the dept of health would have to say about that. And what about others that may have allergies?
