Homewood Suites By Hilton Kansas City Speedway

Our suite was very nice. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, right down to pots, pans, dishes and silverware. There was even a full sized refrigerator. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful.

The continental breakfast area was not kept clean. Food and coffee were spilled all over the serving areas each morning. The condiment containers were empty. I had to step into the prep room to find an attendant to ask for syrup. She was quite put out that I interrupted her while she was texting. We spoke to management about it. She said she would address the issue right away.

For family's staying near the Legends area of Kansas city, this location is amazing for the proximity to everything. We attended a Sporting KC game which was 2 mins away. There's a Walmart and Sam's Club 30 secs away as well and of course the outlet shopping mall with restaurants is nice. There are more restaurants around the hotel within 5 mins or less drive that don't show up on the maps. Having a basketball court onsite with balls you can check out was a first for us but our boys really enjoyed it. The breakfast we great but you have to arrive no later than 8:45 or you'll likely not have a lot of variety to choose from. It starts at 6:30. The primary purpose of our trip was to see Sporting KC and then spent the next day at Oceans of Fun waterpark. It's about 25 mins drive from Oceans of Fun but we chose to stay here instead of closer to the waterpark because of the variety of things to do.

The beds are just "okay" as compared to other properties I've stayed at.

The room was outstanding, far more than we expected. The layout was so nice and plenty, and I do mean plenty, of furnishings without crowding the room! We didn't use the kitchen, but the space was clean and nice. The beds were comfortable and clean and the room was quiet when it came time to go to bed. Also, next to plenty of shopping.

Stayed for the Tesla charger but unable to use it. Another Tesla parked crosswise (I'm not kidding) across the Tesla parking blocking the other charger for the other two of us who were driving Teslas and staying at this hotel. The staff noted our concerns but seemed unsure of what to do about it. If the car were registered as it should have been, the other driver and I felt they could have called the room and asked them to park within the lines or remove their car altogether.

Room size

One of the beds in one of the three rooms weren't clean. Had a staff member tell me they were going to add the government rates for me when I got there cause I had to go through a third party after getting transferred from them when I called to book the room, then wasn't able to due to one of the managers on duty. One of the staff members went to take off his shirt in front of one of my family members when he was changing the linen on the un clean bed

Loved the location..bed was huge, shower was clean and big. Loved we had a full fridge. Also loved the ceiling fan.

We had a family above us, with I'm assuming small kidos. Running around. Wished we could of gotten top floor. The tables for breakfast are a little wobbly so becareful with drinks. Also it's only CC or Charge to room.

The room and beds were great. I got the first room on the first floor which meant i heard everything from everone else on the floor. The hotel store had a good slection, but $18 for a pint of vanilla ice cream was rather over priced

Hotel store prices were stupid, noise was a big issue, the breakfast was lackluster and flavorless

Hotel felt clean. Room was spacious, nice kitchen. Solid gym with Peloton

Both Tesla Chargers were broken (reason I chose this property). There was 1 normal charger that someone took off of my car at night. Pool closed early. Peloton was a lot harder to do than mine at home and sound wasn't great.

The ladies at the front desk were very kind and helpful!

The cleaning staff missed some things. Like clothes from the previous guests and little touches that make a big difference..for example there was a mostly empty roll of toilet paper left on the roll.

Room was clean & quiet. Personnel were professional & pleasant.

No Kleenex in the room. Was not informed where elevator was during check-in. Was confusing since it's farther away from the front desk than I've seen before.

I don't know his name but he was black. He was very nice. Everything was very nice and you can tell them keep up with everything. Was nice staying somewhere where it didn't look run down like double tree
