Hollywood Casino - Bay Saint Louis

We come every year before school starts to spend a few days at the pool with our kids and enjoy the pool. I do not like that y’all changed the rules of kids under 5 not being allowed by the pool. And for people who did have a child 6 or older you wouldn’t allow them to use floaters. I think that is wrong. Not all kids know how to swim. If something was to happen I would assume someone could sue the heck out of y’all. So I don’t think we’ll be back . Y’all have become very unfriendly toward children

Loved all the vintage Hollywood B&W photos and other themed decor, especially the pool. Lazy river and pool area were a nice place to get some sun and cool off in the water. Enjoyed the casino. The breakfast at the Grille was the best we had there - the biscuits, in particular.

Booked a King room, but got one with two Queens instead. Besides breakfast, the food at the Grille was fairly tasteless and disappointing (burgers, chicken fingers, fries).

I enjoyed the location, close to everything I was going to see. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility, including the gym, was clean and well maintained. Loved that all I had to do was go downstairs to the cafe for breakfast and lunch and dinner.

The cigarette smoke. I don’t smoke but it was ok, because I understand it’s a casino as well.

Great pool. Efficient, friendly desk staff. Room was spotless & comfortable.

Pool staff not very hard working. Cabana not swept. Cabana tv screen was dirty. Most of pool staff just appeared to walk around past tables that needed busing, chairs needing to be put back, etc. Didn’t appear to be any supervision. Food & drinks were good but service was slooow.

We love the lazy river

We wish there was a refrigerator in the rooms. The conditioner container in the shower was empty but I didn’t realize until I had washed my hair. I ordered lunch twice from the pool bar. Both times, my order was incorrect. And the wait to receive the food was so long, I hated to return my food and have to wait again.

I hate the smell of cigarette smoke having to buy 2 extra swim bands for our 3 rooms which had 4 people in them Seems like everybody wants to charge a resort fee which I think is also excessive---We have 5 kids and 2 grandkids on our family get a way

Very nice staff, location is only a few minutes from downtown restaurants and the water. Pool area was nice and relaxing. AYCE Buffett was very good and worth the price.

Restaurants weren't open at beginning of week but the Celebrity Grill was open daily. No common area to sit with friends.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very quiet.

We don't gamble. The main reason we picked Hollywood Casino was the Lazy River. This was disappointing. The tubes were uncomfortable. We obeyed the rules about not taking any beverages with us into the Lazy River area. However, there was nobody taking drink orders in the pool area and the pool bar was not open. Couldn't quench our thirst.

We enjoyed the pool. The casino was typical.

The overwhelming smell of smoke as we approached the front door, before we even entered the building. The maid never came while we were there, so coffee, cups and water never got refilled. We had to catch the maid to get clean towels. We didn’t feel the cost of the buffet was worth the selection of food.

The staff was amazing and the view of the Bay is awesome.

They should at least 3 more little shops where they have empty spaces! Even if it's more vending type machines ect. and a bigger arcade-which is currently under renovation when we went so hopefully they upgrade.
