Hampton Inn Minneapolis Bloomington West

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, although they ran out of waffle mix with an hour and a half remaining to be open.

The lady who worked the breakfast station on Sunday in the mornings wasn't pleasant. Many items ran out and it wasn't kept tidy as in the previous two mornings of our stay. I didn't like that my reservation didn't reflect a $30/day charge for incidentals. we didn't know that prior to check in so that $180 that we weren't planning to spend immediately. The front desk told us this was the fault of the third party company. I would think the property owner and third parties could talk and that would be an easy fix to add to the contracts through third parties.

Our room was GREAT!! It accommodated my whole family (6 and an infant) sofa bed was comfy and beds were great! Shower was huge, enough to fit my little people to shower them together. Breakfast was awesome! Enough towels and bedding for everyone. Didn’t have to go to the front desk to ask for more linens. Definitely will stay again when we visit !

Was a bit confusing to get to hotel. Was hard to merge on highway and off with little room to actually get into the right lane.

The fitness center was clean and well equipped. The room was comfortable.

I was told my room wasn't cleaned yet when I arrived to check in a 3 pm. I sat and waited for 45 min after the desk clerk said he would look into it. I sat right in front of him and when he never looked to say a word to me about the room staus. I asked again and he said the room was still marked as not clean yet. I demanded a room that was clean and ready. I was then given a queen bed instead of the King I paid for. I agreed to it as I was tired of waiting. The stay was comfortable, my room was clean and I really enjoyed the fitness room, though my initial impressions were not good. Breakfast was not served until 7am which made it a rush to eat before the meetings I was in town to attend.

I liked the breakfast options that were offered. A very well-kept clean facility, clean rooms, a clean bathroom, and a wonderful overall stay.

I wish the pool would be open a little late, some hotels have their pools accessible 24/7. The eating area for breakfast was also a bit small but still nice.

The lady opened up the breakfast for me an HOUR after they closed it down because I misheard when breakfast time was. Wish I got her name but she was a total sweetheart because I have health issues and I didn’t want to say that but she really helped me!

I hated that the Bloomington Police sit in the parking lot harassing guests. I also never received new towels or like coffee and cups and stuff when I had guests. I had to go get it from the front desk. then they said “you do not get room service for less than a weeks stay.” That’s not room service and if I just booked a different room, I would have received the housekeeping with no issues because it’d be a fresh room... so that didn’t make any sense.

Rooms was very clean, maybe brand new.

No shuttle service to the airport. I mistakenly thought there was when I booked that hotel, but later learned (and they are correct) it is not offered, so it cost me about $40 bucks plus tip to get to the airport. I'm traveling back to Minneapolis over Christmas and this time booked a closer hotel with a shuttle service.

.Amazing breakfast! The breakfast attendant was awesome and really cared about his job... everything stayed well stocked and clean. Pool area was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

So I didn't sleep well which is unusual so maybe the beds? Pillows were comfortable and beds seemed comfortable maybe it was just me.

Nice clean pool area with the sauna. Room was clean and spacious. Loved the time with family.

No room service but it was okay because we could go ask at the front desk for whatever you need.

Good neighborhood. My vehicle dont lock all the way up and the neighborhood felt safe and clean.staff was very nice and not constantly bothering us. Gave us anything we needed. Breakfast was more than I expected it to be. As in more options.

The blanket I didnt care for because it separated from the inside. But I know that's so it can be washed. So it did what it was meant to do. Better than not being cleaned at all.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The accomodations were great.

The three days that we stayed here, there were no biscuits and gravy for breakfast.
