The staff were all very friendly & helpful! 17 inches of snow arrived overnight & some of the staff stayed overnight to make sure all the guests needs were met. One was shoveling out cars parked in the handicapped spots. We forgot to pick up dish soap for my grand daughter's bottles. The front desk clerk got us a cup with dish soap so we could wash her bottles. I feel the staff go above & beyond for their guests!

Our only issue was the ventilation in our room. We had a suite & with the door closed to the bedroom the entertainment are became very warm. They are however in the process of refurbishing rooms. Hopefully that is on their list. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The room was well-equipped for mobility issues and roomy. The bed was comfy. Everything was as good as any room we've had elsewhere, at more expensive prices!

The breakfast was sufficient. The lack of variety (there were pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, salsa showed up later, fruit, bread for toast, mini muffins...a decent spread if staying only one day but for three mornings it is quite boring). There were no hard boiled eggs, cheese, peanut butter, english muffins, or yogurt. I've grown accustomed to having more variety. The breakfast was good enough, but not spectacular and comes short of some other options in hotels. That's why I ranked it as a "9" instead of a "10."

attempted use of coin laundry, it did not work according to directions inside the lid of the machine. Went to front desk and the lady had an attitude, asking if instructions followed, which they were. She came back to the laundry area, and pointed to instructions on a wall that were different from those on the machine!! Ultimately she fed in the additional quarters needed to start again and got the machine going. There should not be contradictory instructions available like that. And her attitude was such that we avoided asking her anything else!

Staff seemed to be meticulous with their cleaning. We've stayed at a lot of hotels this year and this one was the cleanest. Staff was friendly. The free popcorn, coffee, ice water is a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent! There were a lot of us that stayed the night for a baseball tournament and they handled things very well. There were several other people from other teams that were staying at different hotels that weren't nice and they cancelled their second night and booked at Americinn based on our recommendation.

Location was fantastic. Nice views and lots of food and grocery options. The staff was very responsive. They were professional, but also funny and understood the people that were staying there. I really can't say enough about how happy I am with the desk, and Breakfast staff. Housekeeping was very pleasant, as well

Pillows were huge and uncomfortable. The extra pillows in the closet,inside the bag) were much better. The rooms felt crammed. Not much room to move around. We were there several days and hadoys of baggage. The Room would have been fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast selection was mediocre, but the staff was constantly refilling. Not a complaint about the food, but I woukd like other items.

it was easy to find and well located near lots of things in town. the room was large and clean. the staff was helpful and polite.

like most upper peninsula hotels, the place was dated. they had attempted to fix issues on the wall but the paint didn’t match. the pool area was small and there weren’t a lot of breakfast options, although we did go down later in the morning so it’s possible there were more things available right away in the morning.

Everything was pretty great. A couple things need an update like the carpeting and the water pipes. The toilet didn’t flush well and the tub took a literal hour to drain after a shower, but there is construction right now(which didn’t bother us at all) and I assume these things will be updated.

Both the pool AND hot tub was open! They actually had a hot breakfast (eggs, sausages, waffles, etc), which I haven't seen at any hotel since the start of the pandemic. They also offered bag breakfast as well.

You could hear the traffic from the highway even with the air conditioner running, and I also had the sound of rain running on 2 different mobile devices. Lack of places to plug in mobile devices at bedside because the outlet is either to far away or full. The one lamp that I could use to plug in my phone and 8 pad was at the desk, so I switched it with the bedside table, but switched it back before checking out. However, when I had to move the chair by the bed I noticed garbage and other debris on the floor that was overlooked by housekeeping, it wasn't exactly small either. Lack of towels in pool room both the night of check in and morning of check out.

The amenities were awesome. The pool was clean and fun. The gym was 24 hours. The breakfast was varied and supple. The covered entry and carts combined with an elevator were great for unloading and repacking. The parking lot had ample space and was well lit. The location was very convenient. The staff and front desk were very helpful and even had rolls of quarters for the laundry machines.

It appeared to us that we were in the pet friendly room as we brought dogs which did relieve any worries about our own stains. Our tv did not work the first night and no one could help us get it going. It did look as though they had planned renovations lined up. The laundry room only had one pair of machines.

We got a remodeled room. So it was nice and clean. New bed and carpeting new paint. The staff that we came across were all very nice.

The smell of paint was still a bit strong, the paint was oversprayed on to the refrigerator. The fan in the bathroom was not hooked back up and the faucet in the bathroom was loose.
