Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Vinton, LA

We checked in a little after midnight Saturday. Colby was very friendly and made the check in process quick and easy. Later that morning after some much needed sleep we enjoyed the breakfast. The lounge area was kept clean and the breakfast choices were good. By this time the day shift had come on. They were all very courteous and attentive to anyone coming in. The location is off of I-10 and LA3063. The noise level from interstate traffic is null. They are set back off the frontage road so you can actually enjoy the quiet. Room review: the bed, o my goodness, most comfortable night sleep ever. This bed was more comfortable than our bed we spent $2000 on. The room was very clean. Love that it is a non smoking facility!!!

If I had to come up with anything negative it would have to be the lack of a swimming pool.

Felt so comfortable here. Extra nice room with wonderful breakfast service in the A.M. Linda checked me in with a friendly smile and service, everyone here was thoughtful and gave me plenty of ideas of things to do in town. Friendly staff. If you are unsure of this hotel, let me change your mind, take the chance on this one. Happy that I did, and I'll be back soon

found a little black line where the shower meets the drywall. Not that big of a deal, but it may be for somebody. Only one towel rack available and towels touched the top of the toilet when we hung them up. Wound up using hangers instead. This would be even more of an issue if more than two people were using the room. Also, hooks in and around the bathroom would be very helpful.

The staff was friendly and very helpful and the rooms were very clean. We will definitely be back if we are in the area.

The only thing we didn't like which is not really a big deal was the coffee. We are big coffee drinkers and we like folgers black silk and there was no bananas at breakfast bar lol.

It was nice and staff was friendly. A few problems.

The lights were out for several hours and was uncomfortable and hot. Had to go get key activated sevsral times to get in room, and when I checked out was told they couldn't give me a receipt, never been told Booking.com would have to give me one. Been using them for several years always got receipt form everywhere we've stayed.

They were extremely helpful and nice. No issue with my pet being allowed. It was very clean and the breakfast was great and available until after checkout. Checkout was 11am and that allowed me to get the extra rest I needed to make the long drive home. Very friendly staff.

The shower didn't have good water pressure and no pool or spa.

We had a king sized family suite that was clean and had a full kitchen stocked with dishes which was great! The staff were super nice and very helpful. Breakfast service was temporarily replaced by grab n go but that was just fine and it was nice that we were notified about it way in advance so we were prepared. A pool and hot tub would be a great addition to the hotel but we had a wonderful experience and will stay again the next time we are visiting family in Vinton.

There was a little bit of trash in the back area and cigarette butts which the smoker should be responsible for putting them in the proper containers that were available.

Upon checking in was told room would not be available untill 3. I had called the day before to make sure we could check in at noon ish. Made rez back in March. We were in a now bind. Jonah on the front desk solved this problem for us realativly quickly, so thanks again Jonah!

This hotel is a hidden gem. I would definitely stay again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The overall appearance of the lobby/common areas was excellent. Very clean and tidy. Easy access on and off of I-10.

More attention to detail was needed as far as housekeeping in the room we stayed in. The microwave had food crumbs in it as well as the top of the refrigerator seal from previous guests. Also, dirty walls, especially in the bathroom. A quick wipe down would help to keep these rooms nice for years to come.

I had a problem with my ice bucket and a sheet, the front desk clerk, Malcolm fixed the issues immediately himself. The staff went above any expectations I had. Very covid conscious there too.

They need a large sign out by the road. There is a freeway connections almost at the same location as the turnoff for the inn. It made it very confusing and had to do a couple of turn-arounds before I got in the right location. A big sign at the road would have helped greatly.
