Gators Inn on the Bayou

Great, friendly staff. Clean room. Good shower. Bigger than normal hotel room refrigerator. Satellite TV.

Parking, road noise. Seemed like a lot of bar patrons at the end of the building were taking parking spots in front of the rooms. Small spots too. Truck stop toilet paper dispenser and cheap as possible toilet paper was almost unusable. Bring your own. Not a good way to save a buck by the hotel.

Everything was fantastic. I read that ppl didn't like the pillows. Or the building was old. Or stupid things like that, look.... 90% of Louisiana IS OLD! And it has been hit by 72 dang hurricanes in the past 10 years. Things are not gonna looks so great on the outside. But it's the inside that counts, and how you are treated. The people of Louisiana are awesome, down to earth, treat you like family kinda people. I will stay here every time i have to pick up my husband from dry dock, or even Port Forchon. I loved my stay here!! Beds were comfortable, pillows were great, super fluffy. Room was super clean. It was quiet at night. The ac froze me out wich i loved. And the staff were all so nice. If you are passing through here, or looking to stay somewhere close to a different town like golden meadow or even Port Forchon, I would tell everyone to stay here! You will love it.... you won't regret it.

There was a guy outside side at 7 am drilling holes into the concrete right out side my door. They coulda waited till noon to do that so that the people like my husband, getting off the crew boat at midnight and getting to the room at 1 am, could actually get some sleep. But.... other than that, I still loved my stay.

newly renovated rooms. very nice and clean. Having the bar with live music is awesome. Super friendly staff and bartenders. The other hotels in the area are expensive and boring

I had to leave after two days. I will stay there again for training.

Everything we stay here everytime we come from Texas the staff is very polite and more than helpful we enjoy the atmosphere as well we love the bar and all the people that we come in contact with are very friendly. we will be back for sure

There was nothing not to like

This plain Jane low priced hotel was the CLEANEST hotel under $80/night I have stayed at in 5 years or more. It’s bland, it’s dated but it’s clean and better maintained than ANY Wyndham (even better than a couple Quality Inns) I have stayed at in 5 years at ANY price. The lobby was disappointing and smelled like smoke so we were apprehensive but the room smelled like a sweet clean room..

The pillows are thin.... and the place looks a little sketchy because it’s joined with a small bar/casino but the staff and customers were friendly.

Kinda hid off a bit so not a lot of traffic. Room has new items and very clean. Bed was very comfortable

Lots of construction workers staying at property so not very quiet with all outside the rooms but they were very friendly

Easy to access

it was in a residential neighborhood, dogs barking, check in at the bar, Red Fox unit (Sewer System) outside the motel room, with a large pile of sand, no coffee maker,no one in office at check out

I never ate the breakfast but everything else about the place was just great. Friendly staff, willing to assist with any problems you may have, always smiling and helping whenever they could. The only thing I would have liked better is if it were closer to some of the shopping districts and restaurants, although you can get some tasty food there. I will stay there again.

Nothing as far as the staff is concerned. They were all terrific! About the only thing I would have liked more is the location. If you are looking for a place that has all the "bells and whistles" with it, this isn't the place for you, but if you want great service and great people, this is the place for you!

Me, my kids, their daddy, and one of our friends had been hopping around from motel to motel. This one by far was the best! The quality and number of amenities far exceed expectations when you see their price per night. Absolutely amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer!

That back alley way looking area where the back side of the motel rooms are was.a bit creepy at night. Maybe a little more lighting back there could be helpful?

The manger and staff very friendly!! Everyone made me and my sister feel very welcome staying there!?

My husband and I stayed there other times also ~~ our stay always good there. Everyone friendly — love that !!
