The rooms were very spacious and came with a small stove, full size microwave, full size refrigerator and sink. It was also stocked with silverware, utensils and pots and pans. There was also a full pay laundry on each floor. Free parking within 100 ft and very easy access for pickup and drop off with a covered entry-way. Entry was secured by key-card access after dark. Saturday night they have a nice jazz duo of pianist and bassist that went until about 9pm. Very nice museum across the street, dining across the street, Martini and Cigar bar within 1/2 block. Other bars and distillery within 1/2 a block.
The breakfast carried the usual fare for a buffet, but by the time we ate at 9:10am ( breakfast was 7 - 10am) it was mostly gone, and was not very warm. (several of the chafing tray warmers were not lit.)

The room was excellent and the bed was comfortable so I slept well. The HVAC system was very responsive to cool the hot room we walked into. There was a nice high-backed reclining chair in our room that my wife and I tried to beat each other to use. I love that they have a noon check-out time. The kitchenette was handy, as was the ice-maker in the full-size refrigerator. My group of friends loved the hotel and its location in Old Town. During our stay, we walked across the street south to eat at two different restaurants and also enjoyed the cigar bar with live music. We walked three blocks west to the chocolatier and comedy club, and also walked a block north to another club. Finally, we got to enjoy the in-hotel bar with jazz duo. It was a great weekend stay.
The water pressure in the hotel was pretty low, both in the bathroom sink and shower. My wife would have liked a bathtub to soak in, but our room only had a shower. There is no pool or jacuzzi.

The bartender and front desk manager (I believe her name was Casey) were 5 star. They both worked well together to make sure your stay was fantastic.
include breakfast with your room stay please. Also, the front staff with the exception of Casey, need to be trained on how to accommodate people if their room isn't ready by 3. Travelers are tired when they check in and we don't appreciate being told our room isn't ready yet. How about offering your guest a bottle of water or something to make it up to your guest. When Casey came in, she was very apologetic and offered us a free drink at the bar after dinner for our inconveniences. She was great. The other staff never greeted us when we came down in the morning, they would just put their head down when they saw you coming.

Room was beautiful! It was well equipped with a full size refrigerator, microwave, & cooktop. Room & hotel was very clean. Parking is free in the garage or flat lot across from hotel. The night I stayed, there was live jazz music. I had a balcony that overlooked the lobby, so opened my door to listen. I was in town prepping food for a family event. The room met every need. I'm
As another reviewer mentioned, the shower was either scalding hot or cold, no in between. My following comment is not the hotel's fault. Homeless population downtown make the elevator & one of stairwells uncleanly - the city owns & tries to maintain them. Park in the flat lot across from the hotel if you can. The police station is right there.

Hotel clean, friendly & comfortable. Nice ambiance and loved the older history. The condition of the hotel is a credit to current owners.
Breakfast needs attention - either do it or leave it. I had breakfast 1st morning but found choice & availability of fresh food, tea & fruit etc non existent, not good for a central hotel with business travelers. That would be a serious consideration for me to either recommend or not to colleagues regarding future stays.

I loved the old feel as well as how clean the rooms/hotel was. Even though there was construction happening(which makes sense its an older building) They had display cases that held older memorabilia at the elevator entrances(gave you something to look at while waiting for the elevator) I loved that the room had a full kitchen including cutlery/pans. Would be awesome for someone who's staying more than one night and needs to feed multiple. The room felt inviting and was very clean!
The location has its pros and cons. Everywhere we needed to go was within a few minutes drive. Cons just there are bars located nearby and could hear music/cars etc. BUT if you turn the TV on it drowns it out a bit also it was a Saturday when we stayed so I already knew people were going to be out and about.

Friendly staff and free parking next door. The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants. The older building had lots of character and the rooms were spacious.
Rooms are in desperate need of a facelift. Dated furniture that is very worn and looks to be from the 1980's. Very small tv for the spacious room. They have a good thing going with their boutique character that is a refreshing escape from the big players in the hotel industry.

The staff were very very pleasant when we left. Room size was great love the high ceilings and overall atmosphere.
That the continental breakfast was 19 dollars ridiculous price when all you get is the basics. A lower class hotel offers a better breakfast for free. For that price we expected so much more . We did not eat it just looked at what was offered.

Great location in Old Town Wichita! It's close to quite a few restaurants, brewpubs and bars, most of which were unfortunately closed on Monday when we stayed there. This part of Wichita was really a pleasant surprise having never been there before and also having no serious expectations. It was very quiet during our stay - eerily so, given the downtown location. The hotel itself was formerly a factory and featured a lot of interesting memorabilia from those days. The free parking right next door was excellent. We appreciated the cleanliness of the city as well.
Our room was very comfortable, but we thought the in-room 'kitchenette' was overkill. Also, it would have been nice to have a nightstand on both sides of the bed. A King bed would have been nice too.
