Holiday Inn - Chicago O'Hare Airport, an IHG Hotel

Beds were comfortable. Rooms extremely clean. Staff was nice and helpful.

Hotel is a Holiday Inn/StayBridge Suites combination. Was a little confusing when it came to GPS and Lyft/Ubering since there is a Holiday Inn right across the street. Also note that if you are staying at the Holiday Inn you don’t get access to the free breakfast which was kind of a bummer. I was under the impression we had access to it. We went to go get breakfast (thinking it was included) and were told by a staff member that the breakfast was only if you had reservations through StayBridge.

Staff was lazy and did not keep their word. Nothing around to get something to eat. Got ripped off by a cab driver. Charged $17.00 for a 2.8 mile trip to the outlet mall.

I stayed here for the proximity to the Allstate Arena and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean and every staff member was kind and attentive, regardless of how busy they were. The on-site cafe and restaurant made life easier for when you're too tired to go far. The public spaces were also fantastic, and I've never felt so comfortable in a hotel as I did here. There were a lot of fans at the hotel and the staff were very welcoming and embraced the reason we were there. The room I had was spacious and well-designed. I slept very well; it was the only place I stayed during my New York and Chicago vacation where it was quiet enough to not need earbuds.

Breakfast starts late

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and modern, not far from the airport. Opposite well-stocked petrol station so you could get snacks or anything you might need. Good restaurant (important as we were staying here due to flight cancellation and needed food with a decent cocktail!).

Close to busy road so could hear traffic at night. We needed toothbrushes as our luggage was not with us due to a flight cancellation and they didn't have any (ended up purchasing from the petrol station over the road). Shuttle bus from the airport was v slow and after an hour gave up waiting, (it was fine the following morning at 5.30 getting from the hotel to airport).

It was near the airport and had a shuttle to pick me up. The lobby was bright and clean and had two places to get a drink and something to eat. Very inviting. My room was clean and bed very comfortable.

I made a 4:30 am reservation for the shuttle to the airport. When I got to the lobby at 4:25 am, I was told that the shuttle had already left with me as I came down early. This clearly was not true. I was surprised that there was not a better system of verification of who made the request and the room number. They made a request for a cab and I was taken to the airport on time. I appreciated that but was disappointed that the airport shuttle reservation did not work.

I was positive surprised by this hotel. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I had a wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful; location was great - close to the airport (hotel also offers free shuttle), walking distance to some fast food restaurants, a target and walking distance to the Allstate arena. The room was very big and all the facilities super clean! Can only recommend.

Nearly everything

We had exceptionally long waits for the shuttle from O’Hare to the hotel twice. Once around an hour, the other time around one and a half hours. On the latter occasion it seemed the person who took our original call forgot to pass the message on to the driver, so we needed to call a second time. Which we did after waiting an hour (because that was how long it took the day before). The shuttle drivers themselves were all great.

The hotel is super clean and so modern all the facilities were incredible. The rooms are very spacious and the bed were super comfy, location is great with great access to the airport. Transport service to the hotel was easy and also dropped us off to the car hire centre to pick up our car hire.

The transport could be a bit more regular. But this could have been to the time of day. They were very accommodating to drop us off at the car hire centre.

Room was comfortable for the bed but the air conditioner was not working right. We had a concert so didn’t get back to the room until late or we would have asked to move rooms.

The air not working and was also charged 197, 1.75 and 264 on my credit card so watching that this is fixed. I called yesterday to ask and she didn’t have answers but said “it should” come off.
