Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus Near Fort Moore

When I walk in the front door it smelt so good it were so clean everything were so clean an fresh ,the bed were so so comfortable so comfortable an clean I tell I were just so satisfied an happy with my choice the breakfast were great love it I love everything about this hotel an when I am in Columbus again or any where else I go I will be at Mictrol hote an suite Thank u thank u Mary Williams

I can’t see any complaints every thing we’re great for me even the guests I ran into were smiley seams to be satisfied I heard no one mumbling as bad energy the place so satifieding again when I payed on that bed I can’t explain the comfort my body felt an I slept like a baby not a Carr on earth at that time slept all night great. The hallways and common areas always smelled great. The staff were all friendly. Front desk was very welcoming, professional and personable. Housekeeping was very attentive. The breakfast was basic but still good and convenient options. The shampoo and conditioner and soap were good quality. Exactly what my family and I needed while waiting for my home to be move-in ready.

I did not like that they didn’t have lotion. And my children were disappointed the pancake machine was out of order.

I requested connecting rooms and they accommodated me. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The cleaning staff was excellent. My husband used the fitness center which was adequate. The motel was also very close to Fort Benning which is why we were there.

There could have been a couch or more chairs in the rooms so we wouldn't have someone sitting on the bed. Also, I was in a handicap room and the toilet should have been chair height, or taller. There were plenty of grab bars though.

The location was less than 6 minutes from the main gate at Fort Moore. The employees were very friendly for the most part. The breakfast had a good selection of items & was open early which was nice. Missie was working the front desk & was extremely polite & helpful!

The dirty towels were removed from the room each day but not replaced with new ones. It was only a minor inconvenience since we'd just get new ones from the front desk.

The location was great for us because we were there to see my grandson graduation from Fort Benning which was just a few miles down the road. Great location just right off the interstate and good area for restaurants and shopping. This place was very clean and smelt so good, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were so nice and Phoenix the lady that works the front desk was so amazing she went above and beyond helping my daughter and I out in any way she could. I cannot say enough good about this place. If I am ever back down that way again this will definitely be the place I will be staying.

The breakfast was minimal at best. It's nice that there was at least some food, yet food selection was minimal.

don't like how the rate per night fluctuates based on... well, whatever reason. I opine that if a person has booked a stay for more than one day, then said person or party should get that rate for the ENTIRE stay. Not two days at one rate, then two days at another rate. This really causes issue for government workers (contractors & subcontractors) given that contractors & subcontractors are limited to expenditures at the government rate with very little room to go over the government rate.

Facility was clean, could use a little upkeep. Shower head was plugged so very little water came out. Bottom of bathroom door looked like it was cut off with a chain saw. Bedding was great, furniture was in good condition but low cost. Staff was very friendly but hotel was well understaffed. One employee for the property, on a Friday night, and she was training a new employee while trying to keep the whole hotel running. Would I stay here again, absolutly.

Breakfast was very nice, good variety of food. There were no long wait for food. The dining area was very spacious, very friendly atmosphere. The scheduled time for breakfast was very convenient for me

My room had a strong urine smell, I guess due to pet friendliness. My third night stay the hotel gave out of towels. The hotel was a little bit further from my meeting conference as stated on the website.

The location and staff were perfect. We made reservations at another hotel chain the night before. And the stay was a nightmare. We called the front desk and asked about availability in microtel and to our disappointment all the rooms were booked. So later we waited and went online and the room became available to find staff is very helpful very courteous American sign after we share with her I'll harbor experience at another hotel once you arrived at the property you feel safe cure clean room cleaning facilities great early morning breakfast I recommend that if anyone is in Columbus Georgia visit this hotel.

The breakfast was pretty decent. They had pancakes that are prepared upon demand by a machine. Bread that individually packaged that can be toasted. Coffee and tea, muffins that are individually packaged as well. Pretty standard fare.

I wish that there was a shuttle bus provided for travel to the downtown area. There's not much to do around the surrounding hotel area. I personally liked this location because it was close to family I was visiting.
