Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to the airport which was a big plus .

The hotel nickel and dimes you to death to the point where it was no longer a bargain . 25 dollars up charge for a room with air conditioning??? seriously I have never been charged for air conditioning, this is the south in summer, air conditioning is a must and is a given in every hotel here. Also 25 for internet or join their rewards program ( I just used my data), 25 per person for continental breakfast that wasn’t that great and is free in every other hotel in the country . Things like bottled water and snacks were 10 x the price of a convenience store, and last but not least , pay for parking ? are you kidding ? By the time you tack all the up charges and fees on to your bill it’s double the price you thought you were paying .

The transportation to the airport was not as efficient as they sold me. He was 20 minutes late and then didn’t even take me to where I needed to go only told us as we were on it that he was just doing one drop off because they were shorthanded. And then he was irritated he didn’t get a tip. Seriously? I should’ve taken an Uber that would’ve at least saved me from running to the airport I almost missed my flight for goodness sake’s.

The room was big and there was everything you needed in the hotel.

This hotel is billed as the only one in the airport perimeter so I presumed it was nearest to terminals. Wrong! On arriving at International terminal we still had to take a shuttle bus to Domestic terminal and then a further shuttle bus to the hotel. I therefore don’t think it was worth paying the premium price.

If you are an aviation enthusiast, then the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel is the perfect place to stay, when you book one of the runway view rooms with an amazing views of the air strip! Loved sitting on the balcony, sipping beer, and watching the hustle & bustle that is the Atlanta airport 😊 The staff was nice and helped finding my reservation, since it did not come up, as booking.com created a new version of my last name (again), but they did not give up and found it in the end. The hotel is huge, but very nice and clean. There is a small market next to the reception area and even offers a self-service laundry room. The room was a bit outdated, but clean, spacious, equipped with all the amenities and comfy beds. The rooms are not really soundproof, but we were still able to sleep like babies. In the bathroom you find Aveda products and sufficient towels. If you have the time visit the Delta Flight Museum, which is close by (we walked over there), which is worth a visit. Great timely shuttle to and from the airport (not 24/7 and domestic terminal only!). Wi-Fi not free of charge unless you are a Marriott Bonvoy member and booked via online via Marriott Bonvoy.

There is no pool, though it says there is one available, which was sad since I would have used it daily.

All flights were grounded at 1AM at ATL and I stumbled across this on booking.com. I accidentally made the reservation for the next day (because it was after midnight) but they still accommodated us with no additional charge. 3 different staff helped us at 1 in the morning and they were so positive and friendly all trying to help us think of different car rental locations due to all the flight cancellations putting a strain on car rentals. The room was super cute too and the products were nice. It was a breath of fresh air after a horrible situation at ATL in the night with our 2 daughters flying in from Oregon.

The hotel gave me my room early, as I was flying to my destination, and picking up my grandbabies and returning same day. I didn't have to try to check in late at night with two kiddos on the prowl and I got to leave my overnight bag in the room also. The bar area didn't close until midnight, so when we got to the hotel at 11:00pm, a quick bite was appreciated. Staff was friendly.

My fault booking this location, as I wanted the location directly on the train stop to the rental cars, but that was again, my fault. Didn't realize there was more than one location on the airport property. Unfortunately, I waited on the return shuttle to the hotel for almost an hour with two cranky kids. We finally got a taxi.

Close to the airport (although still use shuttle or other transportation). Nice spacious room, very comfortable bed, good size bathroom. The wi-fi is not free unless you are member of Marriott Bonvoy.

A bit over-priced.

The atmosphere and the balcony overlooking the runway, breathtaking definitely a beautiful scene.

The parking fee. for the price for this upscale hotel which was not cheap. the parking should be free. Also they can use a major renovation, the room door to the patio was filled with moisture and the furniture could use an upgrade, and the shower pressure seem weak. Some hotel staff is hard to communicate with because of the language barrier. I couldn’t get any assistance when I was having trouble getting in my room. I had to go to the front desk. nice hotel and been around for a ling time, put the money in it.

The hotel is right next door to the airport. My room had a nice view of the runway if you like that type of thing. The room itself was nice and comfortable. I actually needed to be at the hotel near with convention center which is about 12 away. If you have a car it is fairly close to main street with many food options.

Proximity to airport means you hear a lot of plane traffic that starts early in the morning. I can see that could be an issue for some. Also there isn't much in walking distance so you will need to have a car or order an uber.

Smooth checkin and out. Staff friendly but not the southern hospitality I got used to in cities like Savannah or Charleston

Wifi expensive, food and drinks quite expensive. Room airconditioning couldn't be regulated or switched off. When below setpoint:full blast cold air, when above setpoint heating (also blasting). No transport option from International terminal, so another cost for a taxi.
