Barefoot Beach Club

The location is excellent.. walking distance to cafe, restaurants with live entertainment and the resort sits on the beach! There is also a pool and gym and rooftop lounge area. There are 2 buildings, the one we stayed in 1 had 6 floors with elevator and observation deck. There were sliding glass doors in the master bedroom and also in the living room. The view of the beach from the extra large balcony was wonderful especially in the mornings.

My room access was deactivated a day early. Very inconvenient! Locked out until we were able to reach front desk.

Location location location. John's pass was very close and visited often. The beach was right outside the building. Close to Clearwater aquarium. Washer/ dryer in room was nice to have. Master suite and guest suite were perfect for our needs. Balcony for meals was awesome with gulf view. Quiet location, especially at night. Loved that it's a smoke free property.

Room floor was definitely was not cleaned, lots of sand, hairballs. Kitchen area had food stuck to floor. Decor was a little sterile.

LOCATION TO JOHNS PASS VERY CONVIENT, STAFF COURTEOUS BEACH WAS NICE A STORE CLOSER TO THE HOTEL WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFULL

ELEVATOR OUT OF ORDER FOR 2 DAYS LUCKY WE WERE ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND THEY SAID CABANAS INCLUDED NOPE AND THE PICS OF POOL ARE DECIEVING 1 POOL IS ONLY 12 INCHES THE OTHER POOL VERY SMALL AND AREA AROUND POOL VERYSMALL

Pool was well kept.. Supply of beach towels was very nice. Room keys that were waterproof bracelets were helpful. Need a smaller size for kids.

The elevator was very slow. Did take long to wait.

The location is phenomenal. We had a beach front balcony and literally walked right onto the private beach (which most area condos do not have). It was a short walk to John's Pass and to many area restaurants and stores. We loved the nearby Bamboo Beach Bar with its outside tiki patio and live music and dancing. The 2 pools and hot tub area are beautiful and very clean. The office staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Also-if you're looking for an event space (wedding, party, etc.), the rooftop space is absolutely gorgeous, featuring amazing views, both inside and outside spaces, and a modern and spacious party area.

Our only issue was that the elevator was broken in our building. We were told it would be fixed the next day but that did not happen during our 5-day stay. We were on the 3rd floor which was inconvenient. The office graciously offered to move us to another location but we were not willing to give up our beachfront room. The outer hall and stair areas are in need of a good cleaning and painting, but our room was clean and fresh. A bar and/or refreshments at the pool area would be a great addition, as the facility has no bar, restaurant or market area for drink or snack purchases.

Location!! Right on the beach, pools with cabanas to rent, 5 minute walk to John’s Pass, covered parking area, clean comfortable rooms. We stayed in the oceanfront studio and watched the sunset from our balcony. Staff are super friendly and helpful with excellent communication via text before and during our stay. The only thing we didn’t enjoy were the pools and hot tub, only because there were so many very little kids in them. But our cabana kept us shaded when we wanted to cool off. I say rent a cabana and skip the beach loungers because you can just walk right back to the cabana for shade when desired. Just a few steps away! We will be booking here again and again. Beautiful beach as well.

Excellent location. Oceanfront with private beach. White sandy beach and sunsets. Across the street from John's Pass which has many restaurants, shops, and bars. Separate kiddy pool. Laundry and exercise room on 2nd floor with ice, water, and vending machine. Our room was 212. We had a spectacular view of the ocean with a balcony. Small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, cups and glasses, plates, dish detergent.

Pillows not comfortable. The bed should be by the glass doors to view the ocean while in bed. They said pool was heated and it certainly was not. We went in late December and could not swim. Only kids could tolerate that water temperature.

Size of rooms was superb.....furnishings were great

Absolutely need dressers in the second bedrooms of the two-bedroom units. Even the cheapest hotels have dressers in the bedrooms. Also, it would have been so much better to have one more upholstered chair in the living room or at least a small table and chairs. The room accommodated six people, but there was not enough comfortable seating for that many people. It would have been nice to have more chairs or maybe a couple loungers on the wonderful balcony. The price of the two bedroom units was exorbitant enough to pay for these aforementioned pieces of furniture.

The two room suite had a ton of room for my family. Laundry in the room was a huge plus. The kids pool was perfect for my 2 year olds and there was plenty of seating around the pool. Beach was super close and everything was very accessible. The entire room was renovated and felt brand new with very nice amenities. Balcony had tight railings with a table and chairs. They provided us with two folding cribs that we could move around easily. Everything here was 5 stars.

The only thing I can honestly say I would change would be the glass tables in the room. We were a bit worried that our children might slam a toy or cup and damage them so we ended up covering them with a thick blanket. They tables are very nice and in great shape, they just had us a bit worried since we have young twins that can get a bit out of hand.

The view of the beach was nice, John’s pass was within a 5 minute walk (take heed—all the restaurants are crazy expensive for portion and quality), the king bed was comfortable. Also, even though there was no maid service, there was a basket you could place outside your door by 9:30 am in the morning, where you could put your dirty towels, and request needed things like coffee, soap, etc.

There was literally no water pressure in the bathroom and kitchen, the water dribbled out. The pool was small, and when we were there in late January, the pool was shaded over at 4:00 pm. Also, it may look like they have two pools, but the one pool is a kiddy pool, that is about 5 inches deep, which made no sense. The price you pay for a week, it’s more of a hotel for couples or singles, not a family with kids.
