Ocean Beach Club

I loved the mattress, the size of the room, the olschcool dollar coffee machine, the guests were friendly as well as staff. The price was legit. Little.lounge area outside. Pool looked great. Across from grocery and dunkin donuts 4 coffee

They definitely lie. It's not beach front nor is it a few mins. It's a 8 min walk minimum from either way you walk. The hotels across the st are beachfront and private access. So they probably would be much more efficient to not state that. I chose this hotel for beachfront and airport shuttle non of which is provided. But they taught me about lyft and the why walk shuttle cart.

My stay was great! The area was very safe and clean. My room was spacious and clean as well (bed was very comfortable, carpet and sheets were clean too!). The pool was clean as well. Everything is in walking distance, so I was able to walk to the beach, there's a Winn Dixie and Publix grocery store not too far from the hotel and a CVS and Walgreens. The location is not too far from the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park which was $8 via Uber. Everything was in close proximity and convenient! My stay was comfortable and I will definitely come back!

I think umbrellas and chairs should be accessible for guest if they want to go on the beach

Checked in May 20th to May 24th. Small hotel!! Staff was tentative and prompt. Pauline was so sweet and professional! Check In maybe 10mins. If you are parking a car it's $9 per day and a $50 a day incidentals ($200 max per stay no matter if you sat 4 or 8 days) Beach to the East of the Hotel which runs across Street which runs North & South for miles. You will have to cross Ocean Blvd to get to the beach and go through the hotels across the street! Maybe a 6min walk!!! There are crosswalks so it's safe since Ocean Blvd is busy! There is a CVS, Walgreens and grocery store walking distance. McDonald's for those that want fast food! Overall ot was great! I Traveled with my husband, 2 adult children & 3 grands (9,4,1). City bus was great! Hop on in front of the Hotel and go north or south without changing busses! After June 1st it will cost $3,50 for a all day pass! Looking for good seafood Catfish Dewey's is a 12min ride, Lyft is cheap. We loved it! Very reasonable vs going down the strip to restaurants by Mulligan's!! Due to COVID no breakfast but the scenery is awesome just to walk! Duncan Donuts is across the street from the hotel as well! DO NOT GET OVERWHELMED BY THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! IM A BIG TRAVELER AND I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE HERE!

Compared to the reviews there was nothing to complain about! It's not the Hilton but I've had bad service at the Hilton!

Everything, they even helped us by not charging us when we were late checking out.

They never sent us no new towels or clothes, but I don't know how it works down there.

I was a bit worried when I entered the property. At first, it looked a little run down. I arrived very early having departed from a cruise. I waited in the pool area and it was lovely. Nice trees, comfortable chairs. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is no restaurant on site but several within walking distance. I recommend the N.Y. Deli which is a short walk from the property. The staff had a room ready for me by noon. It does cost and additional $20 to check in early.

The description in booking is a bit misleading. It is stated that there is a restaurant on site. There is not: however, there are several within walking distance.

On bus line Staff friendly except one person Easy pick up and drop off for Uber - Room comfortable

Air conditioning wasn't. working when we arrived. Needs more lighting around the kitchenette. Couldn't use it as too dark Staff didn't have very much info on area - even about the bus line outside

The absolute best value by far, and the greatest location... right across from the beach, centered perfectly between Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and the highly sought-after drive of Fort Lauderdale's strip. I've lived here the majority of my life, and stay here about once per week. Ocean Beach Club is for the locals, as well as any visitor from anywhere on the globe... in pursuit of... what Fort Lauderdale's beaches have to offer. For the best value, for the best service, for the easiest of transports... choose Ocean Beach Club. I'm Tom Tucker, and I approve this message :)

The staff was friendly and everything was very clean. The room actually got cold.

The parking was a little bit tight, made it difficult to get in and out sometimes. The towels were a bit rough. Felt like I was exfoliating as I was drying off. Majority of the tv channels were static. Personally I thought the beds were too soft and the pillows were also very soft, but I'm sure some prefer that.

The location is in walking distance to the beach. The people at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with anything that we needed. We stayed one night before getting on the cruise ship. We had a herd time getting a ride to the ship so they made a couple of calls and got somebody to take us over there

The elevator did not work the time we got there so we had to drag our suitcases up the stairs to the third floor
