Nothing I loved the overall experience was lovely. I would recommend this to anyone. Very nice comfortable and centrally located to do and see many exciting places.

The location and the updated rooms

The floor was dirty , there is no carpet thank goodness but looked like the floor wasn't mopped , I wore slippers so it was not that bad.

Comfortable bed and friendly staff

There was nothing I didn't like. I have no clue why they put a frowny face on this part. It is a mistake and hopefully booking.com can fix it. Because I was happy with my experience there.

The room was very clean, the beds comfy and the bathroom aread== clean. I was able to get a late check out which was also nice! The front desk staff was very friendly and inviting.

There were a couple of things that could be addressed. The Wifi signal in the room was very bad. I constantly had to turn off my wifi and back on in order to get a channel with a better signal. The other thing that really irritates me is they make it so very difficult to hook your laptop up to the tv. I wish they would just leave the option to switch input sources. Also, the shower thing that you turn to turn on the shower, i don't know what was going on with it, but I turn it on at first and barely got any warm water. I took mostly a cold shower until through random dumb luck I turned the handle in the wrong direction and it went back wards past off and the water was warm IDK...

I was surprisingly pleased with this hotel. I'm always skeptical of hotels with entrances on the outside but the price was great so I gave it a shot. I've had some bad experiences so I was nervous, However the room was very nice and up to date and modern. Everything was very clean and it was fairly quiet and the location is very convenient. The manager at the desk was very nice and very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in San Diego

The back of the property is really not that clean. But i don’t go back there nor near the pool so it didn’t matter to me. The pool is filled with kids which I don’t understand coz we’re minutes from the beach. The outer part of the hotel looks nice and clean. The inside looks very modern and nice. Light up bathroom mirror for makeup. Bathroom is super clean. There space for clothes. Everything was actually really clean for me. AC was amazing, super cold. No complaints there. Staff was good. The front desk guy was cordial but not friendly and overly nice. He was basically there coz he got paid kinda guy.

You can hear people walking from the top. Not very much. Just when they decide to stomp around.

Big room, nice location, no breakfast. really close to the Balboa park and Old Town. No restaurants nearby, but there is a delivery to the hotel.

No elevator. It was quite hard to carry all the luggage up the stairs.

The mirrorwith push button light; bed was nice.

Not being able to do laundry. We had to leave a bag behind because I had to work and my dude couldn't schlep both bags to laundromat. They told me tonight that I would have to check back tomorrow. Ask my chef jackets are in there so I'm going on day two with no clean jackets at work.

Great value for money. Room was spacious and clean.

Location isn’t the best but can’t complain as it was a god price.

it was close to my job

the property looked bent out of shape, literally all the outside talks were bent in . my shower head had a circle around it and the hole was showing in the wall, the tile was discolored
