Homewood Suites by Hilton Sacramento/Roseville

The room was nice and spacious. Full size fridge was a big plus! The stove as well. Our room included a living area and bedroom. Great for our size family of 5. Breakfast options were great.

The scanners to open the entry ways and rooms from the outside of the building need upgrading! It took us more than a couple minutes to keep scanning our card to access the inside of the hotel. And there are no instructions on how to scan the card the correct way. I've noticed also had problems with their cards, so I would fix that asap. Someone else had placed a rock in the door so they can easily come in and out without having to struggle with the card scanner.

Location

They are charging for parking. I think this adds an unnecessary expense. There is plenty of parking. We always stay at this property because of the social hour in the evenings. They have reduced that to one night a week. Staying there will no longer be automatic. We are going to look around. Also, when I booked with Booking.com it was advertised that I could cancel at no cost. When I went to change the date I was informed that if I changed my reservation in any way, I would be charged the whole amount. I probably won’t go straight to Booking.com to make a reservation now. I will call the property.

We were there for a softball tournament and Breakfast was very convenient for us. Fresh cut fruit would be a nice addition to breakfast. We enjoyed it overall

When we checked in there was only one person working the whole place. She informed us if we needed anything we would have to come down and look for her because she probably couldn't answer the phone. The next morning, we went down to the pool and it didn't look clean.

Good choice of breakfast, ie cereals, fruits and yoghurts. Excellent location of Suite. Excellent customer services all round but especially from John Tucker who went that extra mile.

Bathrooms require more cleaning.

Lots of variety and choice! Eggs were so-so, but everything else was fine. Very convenient, friendly staff.

As above, egg omelet (?) were so-so, but flavor was easy enough to add. Lots of variety and nicely presented.

The courtesy basketball for the court was a big perk and highlight to our stay! The room was clean when we arrived and came with utensils, plates, cooking pots, toaster, microwave, dish soap, paper towels, etc. The sofa bed was thin but queen beds were comfortable. Will stay again!

No complaints about property. There was confusion on hotel rate. Hotel charged more than confirmed with Booking. It was easily fixed but communication between Booking and hotel should be better.

The size,the half size kitchen w/utincile supply's,spacecios swatting area /w pullout couch bed,12pm check out time,pool even though it was open due to covid-19 niether was social area smminitys

When asked about the total of charges before charging credit card for room .I was told amount was $117&when asked how much deposit was I was told $50 and I added 2can sodas to charge to the room .I asked how much they were each .his reply was $2 each =$4 to the bill total and after looking at my transactions I had a charge for $143 & one for $14 and they don't normal supply a summary break down for charges after check out .I didn't even get a receipt for the transaction after check out from them.so now I got to Hassel w/getting copy's of charges to verify amount.i hate the untransparrency of these travel apps and the advertisement fraud not providing current pictures of facility and rooms,aminitys avaliable& fees added

Great establishment. We just needed a night away. Great choice. We will visit again, and tell others that it's the best suite we've experienced yet. Super clean, quiet, and well put together not just the lobby but throughout. We shall make that our go to for quiet time away from our hectic worlds.

The breakfast wasn’t has substantial as prior hotel stay however I understand the current climate restrictions. Gratefully the room provided a kitchenette.

The room didn’t appear vacuumed very well. I found small pieces in candy left.

Friendly staff, clean lobby, easy check in/ check out. Room was clean and comfortable.

Housekeeping carts blocking hallways. Elevator smelled of urine.
