Staff were very friendly and the place was immaculately clean, felt really homey and comfortable. Diner was cool and breakfast pancakes were great.

A request for more sausage/ bacon with breakfast please.

Located on the waterfront of the beautiful isle of Bute, this place isn't much to look at from the outside, but it's a real treat once you're inside. Lovingly and amazingly themed in 1960s USA, it is full of fun and interesting memorabilia. But the hotel is great for so much more - thoughtfully appointed rooms and a very comfortable bed, a diner with genuinely tasty burgers, kindly and friendly staff. Great value for money. See if you can get a room at the front.

We stayed at the hotel as our son's band "The Braes" were playing at Butefest. We are not festival goers and there was no way we were camping. This turned out to be a great idea, this hotel is the oasis on Bute. We had the best two days ever. First day was at the festival and then returned to the hotel to continue the night and the patter was excellent. The second day was a view of the island and a chill out afternoon in our hotel room. With regard to the hotel we loved the eclectic style of the hotel, the phenomenal view, the cleanliness of the room and the rest of the hotel, the fabulous owners and staff, the food, the banter at the well stocked and reasonably priced bar, the comfortable bed, the good shower and the hotel facilities.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like.

This hotel is fantastic, the attention to detail in the rooms, the Diner and the Bar area was second to none! We ate in on one night and it was like being in a proper American Diner, could not fault the food, staff and ambiance of the place. Breakfast came with American Pancakes and maple syrup which was yum. On the Saturday there was a band in the bar and the owner sang, great night and very entertaining. We booked this trip as a late deal, rooms so comfortable with robes, slippers and tunnock tea cakes, what more could you ask for! It was great value for money as a late deal but even if you pay full price it was better than some 4 star hotels I have stayed in throughout Scotland, spotlessley clean, comfy bed, big shower and a sea view, worth every penny! Bought a couple of tee shirts too! Thank you guys we had a lovely time and have recommended to friends and family!

Yes it’s an American Themed Rockabilly restaurant, Yes that theme extends throughout the property to the room decor, but Yes it works wonderfully….. The Quality of the rooms, toiletries, comfy bed, great sea views and the carefully thought through touches, including dressing gowns and slippers, all demonstrate the importance the owner places on making guests welcome and comfortable during their stay I have stayed in many many hotels, but few have met these standards and I would have no qualms in recommending Cadillac Kustomz Hotel as the “First Choice - Go To accommodation” for anyone visiting Rothesay. We will certainly stay here on any future visits and wAnt to thank the staff for making our stay so memorable and relaxing.

the room was super, it had towelling robes and slippers, a very comfy bed and great tea and coffee facilities, the bathroom was amazing with microfibre makeup removers, the room was scrupulously clean and had some super quirky features which were great fun, the breakfast the next morning was brilliant with a vegetarian option which was great.

There was nothing not to like as we were met by a wonderful host and made to feel very welcome, I saw Kustom Kadillac featrured on four in a bed and wanted to go and stay there and as I said it did'nt disappoint and there was nothing I did'nt like.

The rooms are super modern and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location beautiful. Breakfast is lovely and cooked fresh. We really enjoyed our stay. Stunning views. Beautiful place

We were disappointed that the diner and bar were closed Wednesday evening. We had to get a taxi back to town to buy food and to have a drink. We chose this place because of the facilities of a bar and diner and as this place is located out of town there is nowhere close by to get dinner.

The hotel is really cool, very stylish and interesting decor The bath was spacious and clean and a lovely treat at the end of a day hiking. It was in a good location, accessible by public transport and right on the water.

The food was not to my liking. The menu had few vegetable or fruit options. There were lumps of charcoal throughout the cheese on my burger. I realise that might be the style of cuisine but I didn't enjoy picking it out.

To be honest I was a bit unsure when I made the booking (something to do with spelling 'Kustomz'!), but I was persuaded by the previous reviews. We were only there for the one night, I came away really impressed with the place - the bed was a super king sized bed (which I've never tried before!). I liked the little touches - the decor was spot on, must have taken ages to get all the car-related bits & pieces together. As we came out of season, the restaurant wasn't open, but the breakfast was spot-on. So, all good and if we're back that way I'll make a point of staying there again.

This hotel is very unusual with a USA 1960s-ish Cadillac (Scottish) Honky-Tonk theme. It looked like renovations and fitting out had been done very recently and appeared to be done with new good quality materials. the whole interior looks "over the top", especially for the Isle of Bute, but I did like it for the novelty value. Bathroom was exceptionally well fitted and provided with very good quality items from shower to toilet paper. Every option seems to have been provided.

My main concern was people smoking outside, but in the entrance to the hotel and making it a disgusting experience to go out and in for non-smokers. It also makes the entrance appear unkept and not in keeping with the rooms and restaurant inside. Every space in the room and bathroom seemed to be filled with decoration, utilities and tat, to the extent that I could not find a space for my toilet bag or room to place our second small case. Dark red and black walls in the room made it more difficult for me to see clearly in the gloomy ambiance. The novelty of the bedroom decor wore off very quickly with me.
