The bed was comfortable and the washing facilities are very good and clean.

The control of the TV was lacking and the content was limited. When ordering our evening meal, we was asked if we wanted it together. We took that as how we wanted to pay the bill and replied yes all on one bill. When the meal arived, mains first, we thought that he had forgotten about our starters. When asked about this, the reply was "no, your starters are on there way. I asked if you wanted this together and you said yes". I have eaten out before many times and have never had my mains before starters. Nor have I had to eat hot soup first while my mains remain on the table in front of me getting cold. To say disatisfied would be an understatement.

This was my our second stay in a matter of 3 weeks. We had to vacate our home at fairly short notice due to severe water issues and we spent two weeks from 19th April and then returned again on 17th May for a further 5 nights. First of all the hotel is a great position in Flore accessible to the village but in a nice quite spot at the end of the village. It is decorated in a modern style probably mainly aimed at business travellers and individuals working away from home, but to be fair I was worried about spending two weeks as on the first visit we were still in lockdown restrictions, however we did manage well. There was a reasonable selection for breakfast and the evening menu though restricted was fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and to be honest we felt like we had moved in. The room was perfect for the stay we had room to work and we soon found room to have our dinner in the room. The shower was good and overall the room was well appointed. The second stay we had come out of lockdown. We had 2 or 3 meals in the restaurant and we had breakfast in the morning. The selection was limited, however for the price and the accommodation it suited us well. A choice of cereal yoghurts, pastries and muffins and a cooked breakfast if you wished. My husband and I were coming and going regular so we could oversee work on our property and the staff were always friendly and helpful to us. The bar area is very nice and tidy. Good place to watch TV or relax. I believe the fact we stayed a second visit probably said it was good for us and our circumstances, but I would like to say the staff were always friendly, professional and helpful at all times.

If there was one aspect which I feel could be improved which was more noticeable on our first visit. Individuals were smoking right by the front doors. This is not particularly welcoming for people arriving and having to walk through the smell of smoke. There is a side bench where others had gathered to smoke, but they do leave all their waste on the floor, which isn't great. I would suggest there could be a designated area away from the front door for smokers and perhaps a bench for people to sit outside who don't smoke.

I thought the hotel only had one drawback, which was the breakfast facility. Some of my family stayed for two nights. They said the food was over cooked and not very tasty on the first morning. On the morning that I stayed the food was ok, but lots of things had run out and not been replenished, such as orange juice, even though there was over an hour to go till breakfast times closed. The staff service was ridiculously slow in serving the hot breakfast snd toast on both mornings

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Very quiet , good size room with combined bath/ shower with easily understandable controls. Temperature throughout the hotel was pleasant. Bedroom was not stuffily hot. The hotel was brilliantly located just off M1 with quick , easy access to M1 South for onward journey to South Coast.

The room was clean and had most things you need - kettle, tea & coffee, hair dryer and iron. It was quite quiet. All in all it was good value and I slept well.

No fridge in the room and the people in the rooms near me kept going in and out and their doors kept slamming shut. I think it was a group who were going into each other’s rooms. It would be better for all guests if the made the doors soft-closing.

Lovely and quiet as I said, bed super comfy, towels are great size for your body. Shower nice and big, staff are helpful and friendly, loads of parking.

If your looking got quiet it's great as in middle of no where, no local shop (in walking distance, and closetst restaurant is in driver distance) also breakfast is a bit on the small side 1 of everything cooked, room was clean enough but stains up wall from a drink or some sort and couldn't move gower head even though it moves. You do need a car if staying here. Also pillows are comfy but a weird thinkness 1 isn't enough 2 is too much, and the duvet is hot hot duvet. Needs to take a hair towel as only do huge body towels or little hand towels.

Excellent place to stay with a dog. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Brought breakfast to my room. Quick and easy check in. Lovely countryside location yet only a few minutes from the M1 and very good value for money. I couldn't fault anything and I have had a really enjoyable overnight stay. Very handy for picking up boaters from Heyford Fields Marina too.

I had room 1, two steps away from the reception area. The room was very spacious, was light and airy with a large window. The bathroom was large, there was plenty of room in the shower and the bath sheets were huge!

Due to Coronavirus the air conditioning was up high and I felt cold in the lounge and restaurant area.

Hardworking versatile staff. Very friendly We stayed for a week and found every member of staff to be most helpful and welcoming. Food was great, service was good and absolutely would stay again

Excellent staff, quiet and convenient location.

Only downside was the lighting.. I did find the area by the dressing table rather dark and it's very difficult to see what I was doing when applying my makeup. An extra light would be lovely 😊
