A warm welcome awaits you at the Aden House ( pronounced ARDEN) Corrie & Martin run the best little B&B ive ever stayed in in my years working away ? It begins with the meet & great from Corrie that is fun & friendly and informative about breakfast times local Pubs & takeaways then your on your tour up to 1 of 6 delightful rooms with everything you need as a weary traveller Kettle brewing gear all ready with chocolate and biscuits all layed out on a tray ready with filtered water. So with kettle on Shower is modern & adequate and really hot. if you feel the cold don’t worry the big old radiators are normally on and the whole house is always toasty. Martin is the Chef and makes the best Full monte ive ever had in a 5star Hotel never mind an affordable B&B The breakfast is amazing with choice of Veggie to for our plant eaters. i will be staying again here as i cant find fault and at such a good price you cant go wrong.

Mattress was not the most comfy but i slept well enough on it so most people will not be too bothered im 6ft 3 and 135 kg so bigger than most.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of extras to choose from such as fruit, yogurts, pastries. Rooms were very well appointed. Martin and Corrie were extremely friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to try to make out stay as good as it could have been, without being overbearing, and it felt like we were staying with family or friends rather than at a business. Plenty of interesting things to do within a reasonable drive : lovely beaches, museums, distilleries, highland cattle, the seals at Newburgh, coastal villages.

Nothing springs to mind.

Absolutely superb - one of, if not THE best B&B I've ever stayed in. Corrie and Martin are excellent hosts, and the breakfast - wow! Room was very clean, everything worked perfectly, and unlike some places I've stayed, was of high quality. No skimping here, and yet still very reasonably priced. Would love to return.

The only thing - and it isn't the hosts' fault - you do need to drive to get to any local pub or food outlets.

This was a perfect stay at a really comfortable small B&B close by to the cycle route that I was following. My host ‘opened up’ early to let me check a couple of hours ahead of when planned and enabled me to get some much appreciated rest after a long cycle. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice en-suite and a compressive refreshment tray. My host gave me good advice regarding an evening meal and for my onward journey. The breakfast was a dream, a really good choice was offered enabling me to have a good quality cereal, with a whole selection of fresh fruit to accompany it; I was also given a freshly baked croissant which I had with delicious honey produced by an associate of the couple that were running the B&B. Finally I had lovely bacon sandwich washed down with tea and orange juice. I have stayed at many small B&Bs while cycling and this was the best breakfast I can remember and really enjoyable stay for a very reasonable price.

This was the middle stopover on a 2 day e-biking adventure. We phoned Martin and he assured us that there was somewhere secure to keep our e-bikes overnight. When we arrived he showed us that he had covered an area of the hallway so that we could bring them indoors overnight. I'm sure they would have been OK locked together in the private Car park but we really felt that he had gone the extra mile. (Particularly as we had cycled 50 miles that day). Our Rooms were comfortable and quiet and the small village is very picturesque on the edge of Aden Country Park. Breakfast was everything we could have wished for before heading off on the second leg of our adventure on the Buchan/Formartine Way. We were made to feel very welcome.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were immaculately clean with tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room. The breakfasts were excellent and kept us going all day.

I would have liked to have blackout curtains in the room as daylight comes quite early in this part of the world at this time of year which tended to wake me.

Everything was spot on: welcoming hosts; well appointed and comfy bedroom, making great use of the available space, with a lovely forceful shower in the en-suite; access to stable internet; and fabulous choice of breakfast food - all cooked to order and with care over allergies.

That I was only staying a single night - and didn't have the time for the leisurely breakfast the menu deserved?

On arrival, I was greeted warmly by the owners. Good explanation of scanning in/signing in for track and trace purposes. I was shown to my room and given a tour. I was clearly advised where the breakfast would be served and there is a lot of choice for breakfast, even if I wasn't a big eater. Bonus was that I explained that I wasn't a tea/coffee drinker and the following morning I had a larger glass of OJ! Very thoughtful.

I couldn't fault anything, so nothing to report back.
