Hikers & Bikers Refuge

Booked for a night and ended up extending a few times. Very clean accomodations, friendly hosts, comfy homey feel. Towels and water provided was an unexpected treat. Help yourself continental breakfast handy for even a late night snack. Warm water, Netflix, kitchen appliances for personal meals. Hosts took time out to help celebrate my birthday. Very pleasant stay!

Right from the entrance that Andrew welcome me in, I felt that genuine home away from home feelings. It was 20 mins walk to the purpose of my trip. Facilities was superb, ambience was great. If i have reason to be in Ipswich gain for a long stay, Andrew abode will be my first choice. I strongly recommend his place for everyone.

Exactly what was required. Super comfy and convenient. Considering the level of amenities this stay was excellent value for money. Nothing was too much, trouble - I was made to feel at home the whole time and I will be going back when I’m next in the area without a doubt. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Andrew was really friendly , such a nice guy, hosting an amazing guest house. Unfortunately we were unlucky and got a snorer and the same guy decided it was OK to turn the light on at stupid o'clock but just happens sometimes. Andrew was more than accommodating and would definitely stay again, in fact we are planning our next visit.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and ample amounts. It was superb value and had a great vibe with relaxed feel. The location was ideal for my purposes. I also liked the decor with interesting artwork Would go back again

The only slight problem was the busy road outside but nothing can be done about that so it is not a criticism

Perfect for what we wanted. Could have easily stayed longer, facilities were great. Bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for anything else.

Nothing it was ideal for what we wanted. As we had a Nye party local to the bed and breakfast.

Location was spot on for show I was attending. Second time I’ve stayed here and facilities are excellent for the cost of accommodation. Andrew is a great host and greets every visitor like an old Friend.

Had a lovely time in this cosy and friendly property! Thanks to Andrew & Co for a great stay. Mixed dorms only, but felt very safe and would definitely recommend to other single female travellers - or anyone else!

It was a very clean and safe place. It was nice that they provided towels and water. I really needed a towel. Thank you so much for everything.

Great value and incredibly nice host Andrew. Nice atmosphere and great breakfast.

Location is about 15 min by bicycle outside Ipswich centre. But Andrew kindly explained a better way to get to the centre than then along the major road.
